The problem here lies in the subpar service, again and again and again. We really try to refrain from giving local establishments negative reviews, but the sheer lack of attention to anyone not hovering around the bar is ridiculous. At one point I walked to the bar to try to get the attention of our server and it still failed. They never checked on us. Never asked if we wanted a refill of water and didn't ask us if we wanted a second drink until we had to track down our bill. The final insult was the server asking my wife and I who were huddled up close on the same side of the table, if we wanted one check or two. Ugh.
