When everywhere else was "closed for snow day," The husband and wife team at Dean's remained open, so a group of us went in. Mr. and Mrs. Moon shared a lot of info on their spirits, allowed us to taste test new (and old) products, and were just generally enthusiastic to answer our whiskey questions and change our minds about flavored spirits. Now, Deans is our (wife & I) go-to place not just for spirits but gift giving as well. They will custom engrave products that you purchase from them. They have a great selection of IPA's, Stouts, Porters, Bocks, etc., but unfortunately they didn't have the Lindeman's Belgian Peche Lambic I was looking for. The gentleman working the register asked me if I had found what I was looking for and I politely complimented him on his current stock of Chimay, and other great beers, but told him that unfortunately, I didn't see what I was looking for. He asked me what I wanted I told him and he said he'd try to get it in for me. Two days later, I received a call saying that on of the two cases of beer I had ordered had come in. The amazing thing is I have tried to order from several beer specialty shops and none could get what I wanted in, but the Grog Shoppe did it in Two days.
