The owner has lied to me. I gave him my business in good faith for the first few years I lived in Spring Hill with the understanding that he would contact me once he reached my "spending level" for an allocated whiskey. At first he said come back in January, then he said come back in June. I came back in June and he said he wasn't ready. I've written my phone number down for him many times and have asked him many times if he still has it. He's said yes every time. It's now November. If he doesn't want my business he should just say so. Good knowledge of product, but he just keeps stringing me along, expecting me to just give him my business blindly. Bad business practice! I actually learned about thisnlocation from a fellow distillery tour patron The staff member (did not get his name but he was awesome) guided me to three bottles: one that was unique, one from the great State of Tennessee, and one good bourbon. Been coming here for years. Recently purchased a mid range bottle of Chardonnay wine on my way home from work for dinner. Opened it at the table and the wine had turned. It was actually a dark, dehydrated pee yellow and smelled horrid. Returned to the store and tried to exchange it for something else. Owner refused. Said he could not return it to the distributor for his refund so we, his customer, were out of luck. Flat out refused. Beware. This outfit sells bottom line and outdated product and could care less about repeat business. If you want to stay healthy, alternatives are just around the corner. read more

Had an awesome experience at Elixir Spirits store in Spring Hill, TN. Met Andrew, a customer, he has his own sample bottle collection at the store. Which was nice because the store wasn't doing tasting because of Covid. Andrew was real whiskey enthusiast. He gave me samples of Glengoyne Legend 1 and 2. I might have gotten Legend 1, if I didn't already have 3 bottles, one was a dusty Glencadam 10. Then he told me about a Signatory Bunnahabhain that the store just got. And then talked me into a Signatory Edradour also. He is a customer. Great store and people. read more

Every time I have been in this place the staff is EXTREMELY friendly, the prices are good, a lot of choices, and on occasion they have a sample set up when you walk in. Don't let the humble location mislead you, this is hands down the best liquor store in the Spring Hill area and beyond. Not only are their great unique selections, but his bottles are also cheaper then the surrounding stores. I come here every time I'm in town, and don't tell my friends I'm visiting with but it's usually one of the highlights. The owner is knowledgeable and passionate about his bourbon and whiskeys like few others. His selection is amazing and he often reserves select barrels from distillerys to carry exclusively at his store. The owner takes all the time you need to pick out the perfect bottle for your needs and it makes for a great experience every time. Tucked away in a small shopping center and easy to miss, this is the best wine and spirits shop in the area. The store is small and packed tight, but they have a fantastic selection and great prices. If they don't have it, ask, they will get it. Take a few minutes to speak with the owners, they are very knowledgeable and can give great tips if you aren't sure what you want. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is it can be a little difficult to find what you are looking for due to tight spaces. read more

A colleague of mine suggested my girlfriend stop here on her way home from Nashville because of the bourbon selection. They had a good selection, but the owner limited the amount of bottles of buffalo trace and eagle rare she could purchase (after one of the workers there said it was ok), their point of sale machine triggered a fraudulent transaction on her card causing it to decline, nobody helped her (5 foot nothing and 100 pounds) carry out a 300 dollar box full of alcohol she just purchased at their store, and made her purchase a store barrel pick just to buy a bottle of EH Taylor. I wasn't there, but she called me upset after the owner was incredibly rude to her. My colleague said he and his friends were always able to purchase multiple bottles and never had to deal with stipulations just to buy a bottle. I get it, it's his store, and he can do what he wants. But if he wants to treat people, especially my significant other this way, I'll choose to never visit or suggest this place to anyone going forward. TL:DR, the owner needs to get off his high horse and not be such a prick (or discriminatory, whichever it was for this occasion). read more
