I did find a Michael David Earthquake Zin from Lodi, California, which I love, but nothing else really jumped out at me. I bought 3 bottles. I also checked out their tequila stock and they had a couple of decent additive free tequilas, but mostly the over priced celebrity garbage. However, they did have the Santo Fino, which is a celebrity Tequila, but better than most of the others and it is additive free. Anyway, overall they have what most people will want when shopping for wine and spirits, but not really what I would call a specialty liquor or wine shop with things you can't find anywhere else.

They won't try to influence you to purchase something they're trying to move; they will give you honest guidance to help you buy wines that you will enjoy. Despite the recent availability of wine at grocery stores (which, I'm not going to lie, is nice... I missed that having had that for years in VA), the service, variety and value at Franklin Wine and Spirits makes the 20-yard stroll from the Publix worth it. (Not knocking Publix, 'cause they are awesome!) FWS frequently has tastings at which you may sample wines and/or liquors and liqueurs. The tastings are very popular and have a fun atmosphere.
