My friend said it's under new ownership and this is their third year. Walked in and there was a band playing. Hump Day Trio. Amazing jam band that's apparently here every Sunday. The bathrooms were re done so for those who know that stupid door is finally fixed. I'm pretty sure they even re did the paint on the walls. Bartenders were sweethearts. Good energy through and through. The owner even bought me and my girl DJ Licious a round of shots some amazing tequila lime concoction. So happy I didn't go to bed after family Easter . First off - the staff & owners here are fantastic people and very friendly, even going so far as to offer suggestions for other products I might be interested in, based on my personal tastes. The store is kept spotlessly clean, and the shelves are fairly neat and orderly. The most important part to me? Unlike most other liquor stores in the area, they seem to actually (mostly) pay attention to date codes for their beer inventory. Beer has a shelf life of about 6 months to 2 years, depending on style, and SO many places will let those things collect dust on a warm shelf as if it's a fine wine. Most of the beer here thankfully is well within date ranges, and I've only seen a small handful of out of date stuff - a job well done, in my book. Prices are decent as well, and parking is a breeze. Easily one of the best liquor stores in town.

Lots has changed since my last visit(s). The entire back-end of the store used to stretch into what is now a mattress store, and was filled with a large assortment of craft beer and "make your own six pack" sections. While there's still a decent selection of beer here, their main focus seems to be liquor and wines, which dominate the majority of the shelves. Prices are decent, and are on par with every other liquor store in the area. For liquors, they seem to carry some more obscure or harder to find brands, which is a plus. Workers here have always been friendly and helpful as well. The downside, is that unfortunately echoing what others have said about the beer section - WATCH THE DATES. While the styles I tend to purchase age gracefully (stouts, porters, belgians) - a vast majority of the date codes I saw were 1 to 2 years past their best buy, and covered in dust. Many craft styles from local breweries that require constant refrigeration (IPAs, stuff with fresh fruit flavors, etc) were also fairly dusty on the shelves & unrefrigerated. All in all, probably a good place to get liquor and wine, and perhaps "macro" beers, but a heck of a lot of the beer was either expired or improperly stored.
