Wine Tour Drivers is an amazing driving service. Who would have ever known that there was a driving company licensed to drive your rental car?!!! This is genius in wine country. Our last trip to Sonoma was five year ago, which was also our first experience with Wine Tour Drivers. Before that time, my husband and I stressed out, trying to decide who was going to be the designated driver, all while missing out on the fun and the delicious tastes of the local wines simply because we knew we had to drive. Anyway, they have a minimum booking time of 6 hours, which actually works perfectly for our 5 hour wine tour, which is the duration of our favorite event, with pickup and drop-off. Five years ago, we had an excellent driver named Robert. First, he was a very safe driver who knew the area well. Second, he was just a positive person who enjoyed spending time in the car chatting with clients. Anyway, this past November, when we returned to the same wine event, we were very fortunate to have Robert as our driver once again. Just like the last time, we felt safe and had a driver with a very positive attitude. Some may say that this is a an expensive service, but I think that for basically a full day to have a driver that was completely dedicated to us, allowing us to enjoy the day at our leisure, it was absolutely worth it. We hired Wine Tour Drivers for two days of driving while we explored the area in and around Sonoma. The wineries we'd planned to visit were a good distance from our inn, and we didn't want to be responsible for driving after our wine tastings. WTD was the perfect choice. We'd rented a car, which our driver (Erin) was insured to use. This was a great arrangement; we'd spent money on the rental, why not use it? I had already planned our itinerary, and Deanna (who I'd emailed several times, and was always prompt with her responses), assured me that it was do-able with the times we'd planned, which was reassuring. Erin was super-punctual, and a pleasure to chat with about wine and especially the different areas and towns we drove through - and football! It was a great idea to get a driver for two days for our wine trip! They will drive your rental car and are licensed to do that! Deanna contacted me after I booked them to plan things out. I had already booked majority of my group's tastings but we had time to squeeze in one more. Deanna gave options which I loved cause she had details about the places too! Our driver was Erin and he was really nice. He called the day before to introduce himself and answer any questions. He arrived like 15 min early the first day and was really professional but still personable at the same time. He gave reminders when it was like 10 minutes before time to leave and took pictures for my group. I highly recommend them for anyone's future Napa/Sonoma winery trips! It makes the day more enjoyable and safe! It's also nice to have someone help keep track time for you cause there may be places you go that you stay longer. EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't say enough good things about this company. We were working with a company prior to finding Wine Tour Drivers that was truly disappointing, and we called around in a panic as our weekend was approaching trying to find a replacement service. WTD instantly became the obvious choice due to Deanna's professionalism and suggestions over the phone. We were a bachelorette party of 12 staying in a house in Santa Rosa, and we had a pretty packed schedule that included dinner after a day of tastings and a lot of appointments to manage. We had our own Sprinter and itinerary, but she would have helped me create one if I needed help. Our driver, Jennifer, was incredible and felt like part of our group by the end of the trip. She picked up lunch for us, she made runs to the store for members of our party who needed specific items, and she rocked out to our playlist while she drove us around wine country in her awesome straw hat for two full days. When Deanna realized we were going to need extra hours, she booked another driver, Bob, to pick us up for dinner and drop us off afterward. Bob was lovely, and I appreciated his professionalism as well. I would recommend this company to anyone traveling to wine country. They will work with your plans to help you achieve an unforgettable weekend, and they have the insurance to drive your personal vehicle. Even for a group our size, the price was 60 per hour. This was a great service to use to visit wineries in the greater Healdsburg area. Our driver, Arnold, was great! He texted us in advance to let us know when he'd be arriving and arrived early with a mini cooler full of water bottles. He made sure we arrived on time to every winery and let us know approximately how long it would take to drive to the next one so that we knew when to wrap-up our tasting. When we had some extra time between two tastings, he even suggested a short stop at a general store along the way. This is a great way to enjoy your day without having to worry about driving. I cannot say enough amazing things about Deanna and team! From the beginning, Deanna was so responsive and helpful. She answered all of my emails within an hour our two, and was so helpful with recommendations and planning. Dylan was our driver and we all agreed he is an Angel sent from Heaven.
