This place is terrific and we are PSYCHED that they are having Ollie's Bakery Pizza pop up this coming Friday 7/31/26, 4pm to 10pm in the tasting room. Went when they did this a couple of months or so and found it very relaxing to pair delicious wood-fired pizza with Capo Isetta's engaging wines, with a price point for everyone. Had some of that buttery Chardonnay (2022 or 2023?) last time and really enjoyed it, will try different options this time. Right on the Square and it's a blast, easy to walk around and check out this quintessential Wine Country location and then make the scene at the comfortable and welcoming establishment. Acacia at Buena Vista Winery recommended we head over to Capo Isetta, a newer local wine bar that stays open until 10pm, and I'm so glad we did. The owner, Bill, immediately won us over. If this is what Sonoma grandpas are like, we want to meet more of them. Mr. Bill has the kindest spirit, light, joyful, welcoming, and genuinely present with everyone. That energy truly set the tone for the night. There were two bartenders working as well, and they were just as personable and down-to-earth. Our glasses never went empty. While they don't have bar snacks yet, the sense of community was real, people around the bar were happily sharing Trader Joe's snacks, which honestly added to the charm. The vibe here was incredible. Between the friendly crowd, comfortable seating, and bright, inviting lighting, it felt easy to settle in and stay awhile. I visited Capo Isetta on a lovely March afternoon and enjoyed the 6 wine tasting with my husband and our 8 month old baby. Walked in (without reservations) and found a perfect seat by the front door immediately. There was plenty of room for our stroller.
