The wine and meads were stellar. I started with Sweet Carolina Girl, a mid- sweet blended red that was bold in flavor, with that rich fruit. Very luscious. Next up, the Orange Blossom Mead, exactly as expected. Velvety mouth feel, bright flavor. The Beguile was next, a raspberry mead- at first sip, I was hesitant to like it. I went around the tasting and came back and liked it much more after the second sip. The Masala surprised me, a Chai tea mead, I'm not usually a fan of Chai tea but I was intrigued by the description. The clove and ginger with the cardamom was delightful. Mimi's Apple Pie was also very yummy, I honestly stay away from most "apple pie" flavors, because it usually never does it justice. This was an exception. Finishing this mead in bourbon barrels sealed the deal. Last & not at all the least was Sting, the classic orange blossom mead fermented with juniper berries, finished in a gin barrel. Startling on the palette. A very unique flavor profile for mead & I loved it! Overall, I absolutely loved my experience! We bought 3 bottles!
