My wedding was in 2024 at the old Arbor Loft location. Working with Erica was absolutely…read morewonderful--she was kind, attentive, and truly cared about my wedding. The venue itself was beautiful, and some of the staff members we encountered were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, despite these positives, my overall experience left me feeling disappointed and stressed. At our final meeting, all of my carefully planned details were simply handed off to someone else who did not seem invested in my day. Half of my bridal party had never been in a wedding before, and despite asking multiple times, we were unable to secure a proper rehearsal time. We later learned this was because another event was booked that night. Our "rehearsal" ended up being squeezed into the bridal suite, which was chaotic. On top of that, another bridal party was scheduled to rehearse in our space at 1:00 p.m.--just two and a half hours before my guests were to arrive at 3:30. It was very stressful and did not feel like the focus was on our wedding. The morning of our wedding, I decorated everything with the help of one friend, only to have one of my bridesmaids rush in to tell me that another bridal party was practicing in the same space we had paid for and spent all morning decorating. The new woman in charge of the wedding (I never learned her name) Came to me and asked "what my problem was" When I asked about it, I was told, "Sorry, this is just how we do things here." That response left me feeling like my day wasn't valued. I also spent the night before carefully labeling bins and creating spreadsheets for the staff as they requested. Despite this, my belongings were returned completely disorganized--items were put in the wrong bins, frames were broken, and irreplaceable family photos were damaged. I had also rented flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms and specifically reminded the staff they were rentals that needed to be returned. Instead, they were placed in buckets of water--even though they were artificial--and I was later charged for them. I've been hesitant to leave this review because I wanted to move on and focus on the good memories of my wedding day. However, I feel future brides should be aware. While Erica was wonderful to work with, and the venue was undeniably beautiful, the way key details were handled was very disheartening.

The Arbor Loft was hands down the best decision we made in terms of vendors for our wedding. From…read morethe beginning at the inquiry stage, they responded quickly and gave us all the information in a digestible manner. The loft itself is a beautiful space. It's a venue where you can decorate as much or as little as you'd like. The exposed white brick, the huge industrial windows, the perfectly appointed greenery that's already there and the adorable trendy modern furniture all make a great setting for whatever the event. The bridal and groomsman suites are amazing!! There's a photo opportunity at every corner. I loved how all my photos turned out! The Arbor Loft staff are just wonderful. We worked with Maddy first who got us to the contracts stage. She was super helpful and responded to all of our lengthy contract review comments. Then we worked with Carly all the way up until the wedding day. I cannot express how thankful we were to Carly. She responded to every email we had in less than 48 hours (I cannot say that for any of my other vendors). No matter how small or big the list of questions were, we got an answer. As a stressed out and type A bride, I can't even begin to stress the importance of receiving an answer in a reasonable timeframe. Unless you do one of their planner packages, it's important to note the Arbor Loft is not your wedding planner. They are very good however at asking the questions that make sure you are on track and have the minimum you need for a wedding day. On the day itself we worked with Autumn. She was so calming and even helped me with a fussy bustle that none of my bridesmaids can figure out. I would not have been able to do my first dance without her! For catering we used the Loft's Folk catering. They had such an interesting menu and we received such good feedback on the food. One of my picky friends event complimented on the dinner. They presented the buffet beautifully. For late night we picked a couple pizzas from swan dive, which delivered straight to the venue. This was the best food item for me on the day. The vegan pizza was soooooo delicious and I was grateful for the extra food since I didn't eat much during the day. Since Folk and Swan Dive were associated with the loft, everything was on one invoice and it was so easy when it came to settling the bill. Carly also kept us on track with payments which we were so grateful for. At the end of the wedding, the staff packed up all of our decorations for us based on an inventory list which was so helpful!! Especially when you're exhausted at the end of the night! Some tips for anyone engaged and getting married at the Loft. Attend one of their open houses. It's super helpful to see the types of furniture, linens, and rentals they offer. Don't buy anything that the loft can provide either for free or a reasonable price. The open house also gives you the vibe of when there are people there. You can also sample food from one of their caterers. And it's free! Take advantage of the furniture that's in the loft already. They have really cute lounge pieces that you can use for a photo op. Use the greenery they have in the space. All of these items can be moved to wherever you want if you just ask. The bridal suite is huge and a lovely space to get ready, use it. One suggestion I have for the loft is to have a bar sampling night. We did not get to taste test any of the drinks they offered for signature cocktails or any of their other alcohols. I'm sure they did a great job with the open bar but I think a drinks night will be super fun for everyone. I absolutely will recommend working with the Arbor Loft team at any of their locations. We had full faith in the team, this is what they do every day! Thank you Arbor Loft :) **All photos are from the amazingly talented Abigail Lynn Photography

I can't express enough how beautiful, warm and inviting the atmosphere was. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and the food, absolutely amazing. They made sure that every detail was of the utmost importance. The servers did an amazing job, from helping set everything up, serving all the food (appetizers, dinner and dessert) and keeping everything clean and well organized. They made clean up at the end of the evening a breeze, helping us to pack up all the decorations and everything we brought in. The Bartender was on the ball. He was fast, friendly, quick witted, but most importantly very good at his job in keeping everyone happy and well hydrated. Last but not least, the Cooks...every one of our guests raved about the food and how delicious everything was. Kudos to you guys for all your hard work and dedication and for the exceptional job you did. Thank you all for such an incredible evening. We will cherish these memories for ever. At that time she was told she could call up until the day before the event to secure a tent. She called 2 days before and was told by the first person she spoke with she should have called two weeks earlier to secure a tent. After another 3 calls and speaking with different people every time, it turned out they could only provide the chairs if we picked them up. We ordered from Hank Parker and were very happy with the results.

I would love to give them 5 stars. I really would. But let's get down to brass tacks here…read more Rental equipment - sturdy and easy to use. We rented a cotton candy machine and bean bag toss for our kids' birthday party. Machine came with instructions and was easy to put together and then take apart to clean. Easy enough. Communication - initially it was fine. Michele got back to me in a timely manner and was pleasant. Online at least. When I went in to pay i spoke with Deb. Less than personable. Additionally, the young lady who sits to the right nearest the door was a bit obnoxious to my husband and our neighbor who went with him for pick up. Now. Here's where it gets crazy. Upon my first visit in to pay, I was asked by Deb for my 'NY ID'. Let me explain. We are a military family. While we own a home here in Webster, for the time being, we maintain our home of record in Texas, meaning our driver licenses and car tags and taxes alllllll remain Texas based. Hey, here's something for you to remember Nolans..most military families do the same and do NOT change licenses with each PCS (that's a military orders move). That's a federal option we are allowed, and oh yea, covered by several acts and policies put in place just for military families. I explained such to Deb and was told oh that's too bad that is our policy soooooo maybe bring a friend or neighbor who has a NY license? Ok, one, no, not cool. I'm pretty sure legally you can't ask that. Two, my husband and myself have not only our Texas driver licenses, but ALSO FEDERAL military issued id's!!!! But of course this was not good enough and nobody in the front office would produce anything written to show this, NOR would they allow my husband to speak to the owner, this ' Bernee' guy. He was told to call him if he wanted, and was even hassled about that by the young ladies up front. Some eye rolls were also thrown about and some attitude was given towards my husband and our neighbor. That all is very inappropriate and not good customer service. Also........!!!!!!! Nowhere on the website OR quote OR contract is it stated ANYWHERE that the only for of id allowed is a NY state one. Nowhere, Nolans....are you following this?? So you're not only rude but you have an UNWRITTEN bs 'policy'. Folks, bottom line... Nolan's is very military unfriendly. Don't worry, we'll make sure to pass he word along to not only the fellow families who live work and spend money when we move here to Webster. But I have no problem passing along how incredibly crappy you are in your treatment of military members and families to the battalion planners and those who might seek out your services for large functions. Edit: Husband FINALLY spoke with the owner who was condescending and rude to him also. In his words, nobody reads the fine print anyhow. Wow, Bernee, you're kind of a jackass mental midget to talk about your customers like that! Or to be rude to a man who serves your country. Nobody gives two shits if you've been in business over 30 years, you have shitty business practices. Want your policies followed, put it in writing! Edit numero dos: I was privately messaged by the manager who gave me a bland excuse and requested i take down my review. A) I don't take back what I say...ever. And B) shame on you for being even asking. Here's the deal, folks. I'd have had zero issue UPFRONT if it had been an actual written and stated policy. Additionally, Nolan's needs to add in something for military families who do not and will not carry a NY license. I mean, a federally issued Id wasn't god enough. Reason given: welllllllll in the past we've had people damage or steal our rentals, and oh by the way most of those people didn't have a NY license, so yea, we're just gonna penalize anyone who doesn't have one...instead of altering their policy to account for a situation such as a military family. Sorry Nolan's, shoddy reasoning skills and I stand by my assessment. It's completely unfair to be assumed to be untrustworthy because of my state of licensing. Thanks but no thanks. Ps you also pissed our neighbor off as well..he does live here permanently and happens to be actively involved in local sports and events. Nice job. Also, I'm posting a photo of a message I received from yelp. When Nolan's did not get their way and have my review taken down (that's low, just saying...you can't silence a crappy review.) they reported my review. While my original was left up, I'm offended and disgusted that they would go to that length to quiet a bad review. Seriously Nolan's, you treat customers like crap, that customer will let their voice be heard.
