This place is AWESOME! Why? Because it's not just a farm stand. It's like an old time candy store and a farm stand had a really cool baby. They had a TON of jarred, pickled items. From fiddleheads, dilly beans, and garlic beautifully displayed, to jams and jellies. They had frozen, local meat, including bison and lamb. Locally made chicken pot pie and apple pie. Rock candy, horehounds, licorice, Bit-O-Honey, and red hots. Local maple syrup, honey, and eggs. They also had every Bob's Red Mill package ever made. The selection was better than most grocery stores in the area... Gluten free and a variety of different types of alternative flours. The list went on and on. They even sold mulch hay for your garden! I was so impressed by the variety and amount of product they had inside the seemingly tiny store. This was a small operation done right. I would stop here to get groceries and make a point to do it.

My husband (a contractor) rented a man lift for what was suppose to be a week (ended up being 9…read moredays) due to unforeseen circumstance. Unfortunately, during the job he did do a small amount of damage to one of the bars on the basket of the lift. He was informed by the salesman that they would have to replace the whole basket due to the damage, which we thought was excessive, but didn't question it and simply asked how much it would cost us for replacement. After 3 weeks (assuming we had to pay for the basket as well as time the man lift had been out of commission) of being told they were waiting on the repair shop to give them a price and after numerous calls and emails we were finally told that they repaired the bar instead of replaced the basket. Was also told they overcharged us 2 days rental fee which they turned around the next day and said they actually charged correctly (it was a computer error) as well as telling us we owed for fuel, which was already clearly charged on our second invoice. So the cost instead of thousands ended up being a couple of hundred. We had to explain numerous times that we needed a price for the repair so we were able to wrap up the job and prepare to pay the bills associated with this job. Salesman, although super nice, was very unprofessional and really had no idea what was going on. Every time I asked to speak with someone who could answer my questions he told me even though he was "only the salesman" he was the only on who was able to answer the questions I had (even though he couldn't). I am still unsure who is in charge, as we had many excuses of who's fault it was that it took so long to get final bill including a computer who "has a mind of its own". I suggest doing a great amount of research if you are looking to rent equipment to assure that the company is professional, reputable and knows what's going on from start to finish!
