Bonnie's no nonsense approach ensures my pups get their needs met. She walks rain or shine, administers medications and any other special instructions as needed. Young or old, she ensures my pets get exactly what they need. Recently, my 12 year old border collie passed. As he declined, Bonnie would walk him and spend time sitting with him and was there when he passed. Dedicated pet walkers are hard to come by. When you find one like Bonnie it's so reassuring. She gets good background information about health, feeding, play, habits, emergency contacts and other preferences about your pet. She's extremely reliable and responsible, and you can trust her in your home! One of the things I love most is that she texts you pictures of your pet(s) while she's tending to them. Kevin is an older dog and not very motivated to walk, but she has the patience and spends the time to get him moving! Bonnie is Rosie's best friend and pal!! She gets so excited when Bonnie comes for drop in visits she can hardly contain herself - but she does because Bonnie has taught her how to behave around her! We needed someone to help with pet care during the day since I work an 8 hour day and my husband needed a window of time to be productive. Juggling working from home with crate training our puppy was definitely a challenge. Bonnie would take Rosie out of her crate after her lunch time nap, play with her for her whole visit and crate her again. It was just the exercise she needed! Bonnie was also very helpful to us as new puppy parents, giving us hints on how to train, tips on diet and advice on pet care in general. She is an invaluable resource. Most importantly, Bonnie is kind and your pet will sense that. We all trust her implicitly and know that she will do the right thing for Rosie no matter the circumstance. Excellent pet sitters. We have two old very large dogs. We have put off a trip for a long time because we were just too worried to leave our old dogs. Time came that a three day trip was necessary. We also have four cats. The cats we were not worried about at all but the dogs we were worried. Bonnie and Leilani were great they sent photos of the dogs everyday and took them out for a short walk twice a day. When we came home the dogs and cats were completely normal and looked happy and relaxed. When bonnie came later that day to return our keys our dogs were very happy to see her and went to her for a petting. It was obvious that she treated them kindly and were patient with my old dogs. We are excited about planning our next trip now that we don't have to worry about the dogs any more. read more

Somehow it came up with Bonnie that I had paid for portraits of our two dogs - thru a fundraiser - a year ago. We have tried and tried to take photos of them but the minute they see the camera they turn away. She told us Leilani was a pet painter. Her partner in pet sitting. We hired Leilani to paint our favorite pic from the trip. It turned out beautiful. Perfect. We love it so much. Even though Leilani says she doesn't specialize in landscapes. So next we hired her to paint my mom's faithful companion till the end. He out lived her by 2 years and we loved him every second because he was such a living connection to my mom. All we gave Leilani was one photo and she got him 110 %. He was a crazy looking cat but when I look at his painting -_it is all him. I then decided that she should paint the dogs. They love her so much and she knows them. Better to donate to a charity - then to have paintings you dont want to hang up ! read more

Bonnie and Leilani did an excellent job taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. They sent me text messages twice a day with pictures to let me know how she was doing. My cat does not like everybody and did not like the previous sitter. She was very happy with both Bonnie and Leilani. They followed my long list of instructions. We have used Bonnie's company Windward Pet Nanny for two years and always find them so reliable! Bonnie and her assistant Leilani come to the house to meet the animals and see what we want done. Then while we are gone, Leilani comes every day to check on the cats and make sure they have enough food and water. She also cleans the litter boxes and does anything else that we need done for them. One big bonus is she has been willing to water our plants so they are not dead when we get back! Very grateful for that! Also - we LOVE getting a text every day with an update on how they are and if she can, she sends us a picture of our silly cats so we can see how they are. We just love Bonnie Although she never dealt with chickens, she was curious about our request to feed, do some light cleaning, and collect eggs 3x a week. She came over, checked out our set up & she's now our one & only go to "chicken sitter." She's flexible, reliable, so easy to work with, & it's so evident that she loves animals. From our first meeting, which is an excellent interview to learn all that is needed to care for our pet, as well as how to manage the peculiarities with every household, up to a signed agreement where we are clear on all the details, Bonnie is a consumate professional. She has a few helpers who are equally attentive. As a result - we do not worry about the house, nor our beloved pet, while we travel. She comes in and spends the promised amount of time, not just feeding and doing the care chores, but engaging and playing with our very social and active cat --- and sending us a quick photo and update each day. The peace of mind and the ability to travel without worry are so worth it. We always try to give Bonnie as much warning as possible to get on her schedule -- but the one time we had an emergency, she stepped in even when it was inconvenient.
