If you plan to shoot on the pistol range- they have the ammo and targets there. No need to worry if you forgot something. Not a well known place to gun shop...well worth the drive from Midland/Odessa. Owner is friendly and prices are in line with or better than anywhere else you could go. The store hours are a plus since they are open each day. Makes it easy since you may want to go on a Sunday. The first thing that struck me as odd, is that they have no firearms in the glass cases for sale. "All of our sales are online, or we can sell you a rental at a discounted rate", was the response I received when I inquired, my buddy just stared at me. So, now let's get to why I finished the intro to this the way I did. The young lady to the right where the .22lr ammo is kept, was very sweet and friendly, obviously younger, quite cute, she was a pleasure to deal with. The other lady, the extremely thin one with a pony-tail, she was the buzz-kill; not sure if it was the two of us, or if she speaks to everyone like they are completely stupid. My buddy and I took turns asking questions, and she would literally speak So far down her nose to us she nearly fell over forwards. Now I didn't feel the need to express the fact that I am college educated, prior service, and have hunted all of the "Western 11" states, and my buddy is a well adapted, educated, experienced shooter. Every time she would give an answer, it was condescending, and pushed the outer boundaries of being just plain rude. I am not paying someone to be rude to me, you want my money, provide good customer service. One thing for certain, We won't be back, Id rather drive out of town, or go pay higher rates elsewhere. (Don't even get me started on the fact that they had a guy on the range with a mid-powered rifle, rapid firing on a pistol range, sparks everywhere).

What we thought would be a fun day at the range turned sour for me real quick. My husband finally…read moregot a weekend to try out his new rifle so we went. The cost was a little pricey, but it wasn't a problem. It was a little confusing at first because the cashier made us use a QR code to sign in. Not a problem but there were no other instructions or guidelines besides him telling us to sign in. Kinda iffy but okay. We shoot at one bay and decide to move to another. When we get there, this RSO starts yelling at us that we weren't being safe which was odd because I literally just sat my things down. He told us that a "regular" was telling us the rules and we weren't listening. At no point and time was anyone yelling at us. Regardless, he tells our friend's kiddo to "shut up and listen to him and just say yes sir to him." That rubbed me the wrong way. He was of legal age and didn't know, and there were no rules posted or told to us. Another older RSO came and explained it to us in a much nicer tone. Nothing wrong with the facilities, would just be better if there were posted rules or some guidance before just letting us go out there. And if that RSO is reading this, please do better. You could have approached us better than that.
