I have lived here since 10/1/18, so I plan to make updates to this review as my lease (10mo) goes…read moreon. Rent Price: The new MGM Grand in Springfield, MA (about 15min away) increased the property value of the area, but I feel $1500/mo for a 1 bedroom with old kitchen appliances is steep. I know the northeast is notorious for a relatively high cost of living...but sheesh. This neighborhood is a little old, but the complex is kind of in it's own little upgraded bubble and police patrol ALL THE TIME so I'm not worried. You do have several things included in the cost of your rent, though (water, sewer, trash, heat, a storage bin). Staff: Barbara has been my front office point of contact from day one, and she is a gem. I really like the front office staff. They are very personable, responsive, and pleasant. When my boyfriend and I toured our apartment before move in there was a HORRIBLE smell (tenants before us had pets) and Barbara immediately contacted maintenance and got the ball rolling for a brand new carpet. When we moved in, the smell was gone and our carpet is SO SOFT and beautiful. Maintenance: I have had a couple of maintenance issues (mail key and dishwasher not working) and they were fixed the day I submitted the work order. The maintenance guys I met were very courteous, and fixed everything in a timely fashion. Noise: There's a dog that lives in my area and poor thing barks all the time when it's lonely. It's not annoying (I personally love dogs) but you can hear it. Other than that the complex and neighborhood is quiet. Bradley-International Airport is about 15-20min away so you can sometimes (vaguely) hear planes taking off/landing. Also, there are train tracks near the complex. Ammenities: The tennis court is brand new. The grounds are well kept. The fitness center has a few pieces of equipment that need upgrading (ex. torn seats on the spin bike) but I like it. It has just enough to get the job done, and the sauna in the locker room is a huge bonus. My boyfriend has used the indoor lap pool, and is a fan. There are racquetball courts and a small personal yoga room which are really nice.

AGRESSIVE DOGS WELCOME HERE!!!!…read more Do you have an agressive dog or do you like to not have to pick up after your dog? This is the place for you!! Parents of young children or responsible pet owners be ware, you won't be able to play in the grass due to the amount of dog feces. If you are immunocompromised, live anywhere but here, black mold grows in the bathrooms and management will try and gaslight you into thinking it's hard water. A simple call to the water department will prove otherwise. 3 months into my tenancy I had to move to new unit due to the sheer amount of mold that was present, however nothing was done until I bought mold tests to prove it. I've picked up dozens of piles of poop, no less that 5ft from my patio. I've had a dog try and attack my dog through the patio railing multiple times, to the point of leaving bite marks in the railing and nothing is ever done despite reporting to management multiple times. After speaking to MULTIPLE neighbors, this is an issue many residents here face. the dog park is borderline unusable due to the fact that it is straight dirt, no mulch, it's not picked up and in the winter it's pure ice with no attempt to even salt the walk way to the dog park. While the move in specials may seem nice, it's an attempt to lure unsuspecting people into a failing apartment. There are leaks in the hallways that will not be addressed, the "security" system entry box that has a camera, management has no access to and some of them don't even work and haven't worked for months. It's nice at face value, but there is a reason they have to entice people to move here via move in specials.

I've lived here for over twice as long as the tenure of the average tenant of this building. So…read moreI've seen the good the bad and the ugly. The Ugly: - Upon moving into this apartment I signed the lease that gave me one month free as advertised on their main web page. At the end of the lease, I wasn't granted this. The property management team told me all kinds of lies like they never do those kinds of deals. It was not until I sent them an email that they confirmed the free month in an email from 12 months prior. How many times has this happened to other people ?! - Equipment in the gym is often not repaired for months on end. Some weights have been missing for over a year - There were loose tiles on the roof that took years to mend - There was a dead pigeon on the terrace that wasn't taken for a month - You'll need an air filter. Upon moving into my apartment and turning on my Dyson. The app said the air quality was very poor. - You'll need a water filter. I've known quite a few people who got bad breakouts on first moving. I myself had one of the worse breakouts of my life.I was shocked when I got the water tested. - The concierge/security gossip a lot Good: - They have the best views in Hartford - Any apartment repairs are done promptly without concern - Beautiful lobby - The staff is friendly - Fast elevators - Safe building overall So now that you have spent $600+ on water filter/air filter. Spending well over $200+ for your utilities, parking and pet fees. On top of one of highest rents in the whole 06103. You can fully submerge yourself in a view so beautiful that you can almost forget your getting nickled and dimed by morally bankrupt clunks of capitalism .. Almost

I posted this review on Google with photos, and they were removed. If you want any of the photos…read morejust DM me. Unsafe, lots of crime, homeless, and drug addicts. Petty management with a bad attitude. Seriously, don't move here. There was a woman beaten in an elevator, homeless people get into the building and hangout on the 26th floor. A neighbor had furniture stolen right in front of her door. What's worse, is I have an email from management asking people to just return the stolen item. This clearly shows the cameras they have in the hallways are NOT functional, or not recording. The neighbor who's furniture was stolen installed their own camera on the door. Also, there was a lady who was beaten in an elevator, that ACTUALLY happened! I'm attaching photos as evidence to show I'm not lying. First photo shows they leave the loading door wide open(taken at 4:30 am) Other photos 2 different homeless people sleeping on the property. Management says they cant and wont do anything about it. Other notables: Loading dock stinks like garbage all the time. People let their dogs pee anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE, elevators, doorways, lobby, you name it I have stepped in dog pee. Response to owner comment. Quoted incase they change it. EDIT WHICH THEY DID. THEY REMOVED THE ORIGINAL POSTING SO HERE IT IS BELOW "Response from the owner Hi Hunter - Unfortunately, your statements about the apartment community don't paint the full picture and are misleading given your recent management encounters. As you know, 777 Main is in a downtown environment and along with that location you occasionally encounter the challenges that come with urban living. One of the many features of 777 Main is that we offer first floor retail locations for added convenience and the loading dock is often open in the early morning hours, being necessary during deliveries. It's unfortunate that you chose this form of public retaliation. Our staff will continue to be available at any time to discuss your concerns further if you so choose." See this is the problem with management right here ^^^. Zero accountability and trying to cover up the fact that the door gets left open all the time. My response: You are right, they don't paint the full picture. I left more out, so I will add more of the photos. First, based on the way you have treated me, along with the problems with crime INSIDE and OUT of the building, how can you expect more than a 1 star rating? Its called the consequence of your actions and poor management. They removed my review on google to hide this, so I reposted it again. So yea.. 1 star, dont move here.

The entire complex feels like a relaxing resort and everyone loves walking around to take it all in. I thoroughly enjoyed walks with my kid, and going for runs myself since it connects to the Hockanum trail. Staff: Amazing staff who have been managing the grounds for many years. The manager I interacted with primarily, Sabrina, was receptive to feedback and had the maintenance staff address any issues with your unit with a quick turnaround time. When I first moved in, I wanted to make some modifications to my unit and they did it right away and without charging me a penny. Cost: You truly get your bang for your buck here. Every unit has its own privately connected garage and tons of storage space. You even have your own private front entrance. It felt more like a condo than an apartment. My unit had 2 balconies as well and a HUGE walk in closet which I miss so much!! Thank you to the Mansions community for making my stay there truly memorable. I will continue referring folks to the complex. Please keep up the great work of making the residential experience as luxurious as its name :)

Renting a two bedroom in the back of the complex, I find The Mansions to be an exceptionally well run living space. There is a 24-hour gym, heated indoor pool, garages in many of the units and easy access to I-84. The entrance to the complex is right next to Vernon's fabulous Cumberland Farms, which gives us a nice easily accessed convenience store, just in case. Management is responsive and considerate. They have a round the clock number for maintenance emergencies. Management also schedules social events for residents as mixers. All in all, The Mansions is an excellent complex and a nice place to live. I'm very satisfied.
