My review provides a scathing critique of the management and maintenance of Windsor Rancho PQ, highlighting a stark contrast to its previous management under Millenium PQ.
When the transition first occurred, the new resident portal was poorly implemented, causing frustration and payment issues for me and other residents. I spent an abundance of time dealing with staff regarding how to fix my accessibility in the portal - from numerous screenshots, to back and forth emailing, etc., and they decided to change their system at the worst time which was at the end of the month when resident's payments were being processed from the non-working portal.
The Gym (which used to be my fav place in the complex) became filth. There were bugs crawling around on the gym carpet, the AC didn't work, equipment was always scattered around, and there were inadequate cleaning supplies (I had to bring my own)
The jacuzzi in the pool area went to garbage. It looked like a house party filled with trash and gross water and it remained that way for over a week. It was disgusting.
Trash service failed to pick up in my building and it smelled like a trash dumpster as you walked down the hallways. When I addressed this issue via email with staff, I didn't receive one email or call from anyone in the office regarding this concern.
Pet waste was an issue around the property creating an unpleasant environment. When I sent an email about the urine markings and smell in my building next to the stairwell, I received no response back, nor did they clean the area I referenced in my email.
The Parcel room was a nightmare. It was disorganized and difficult to navigate, especially for larger packages. Therefore, don't bother having any package larger than a shoe box come in for you, otherwise you will be stuck rummaging through a closet full of hundreds of packages trying to locate your item! They weren't in any particular order either, so before you walk into the cave of amazon packages, take a deep breath and pray you aren't in there longer than 30 min trying to find yours.
I could go on about plenty of other issues, but I will save some time.
My lease came up in September and the company sent me a notice raising my rent by hundreds of dollars and increasing my parking fee appx $100! I rejected their renewal and gladly submitted my notice to move out.
During inspection, maintenance informed me they would be at my unit on a certain day and time. I waited and waited...and waited. Not at one time did maintenance show up at the date/time they indicated they would. Nor did I receive a call informing me they wouldn't show. I called the office several times asking for updates and also left messages with what seemed to be their answering service (during normal business hours). No call back. No show from maintenance. I went down to the office and was informed they couldn't assist me as maintenance had left for the day - but they were aware they were supposed to show up. Wow...thanks!
Nonetheless, maintenance showed up the next morning (extremely unfriendly and unapologetic for not showing up the previous day and making me wait in an empty unit ALL DAY). They almost seemed irritated that they even had to be there, especially one of the guys which I believe was the maintenance manager. They took pictures of everything in my unit and left without saying much of anything at all.
On the last night of my moveout, I took videos and pictures of my immaculate, spotless, unit. I left it in pristine condition with normal/minor wear and tear such as small scuffs in the vinyl and I also patched up the holes from where my TV's were. Anybody could move into my unit the next day with an almost brand-new unit; However, I received a notice via email weeks after my move out that the property management decided to take my ENTIRE $500 deposit AND charged me an additional hundreds of dollars to repaint the entire unit! It's appalling and offensive to receive such a notice. Thankfully, as I mentioned above, I took videos and pictures of my unit to counter their ridiculous claims in an effort to take (or rather steal) my deposit.
In summary, I believe my review paints a picture of significant decline in both property management and overall living conditions. The frustration is palpable, and my experiences suggest a complete disregard for resident concerns and welfare.
Please BEWARE if you are contemplating moving to this complex. As another renter stated in a separate review, there is nothing "luxury" related to this complex to warrant such high rental fees, especially when you are dealing with issues outlined above, then subsequently being taken advantage of for your security deposit when you decide to move out.
If Cris and Josh were still at the property, I can confidently say, those outlandish things wouldn't have happened. read more
