THE WORST! A HORRIBLE customer service encounter. I had a shoe from the closeout section that was a Reebok 10.5 but only two right shoes were in the box. She was on her phone when I approached her and she reluctantly agreed to look in the back to locate the left shoe. She returned with a pair of size 9.5 size shoes. We said we need a 10.5 and she began to argue with my wife claiming I showed her a 9.5 size shoe despite the fact that I was holding the correct 10.5 shoe size in my hand. Disgusted by her snotty attitude we left and ended up at Tradehome a few stores down the mall and bought the shoes there. The sales assistant there was friendly and helpful totally unlike the immature teenage twit at Encore shoes. She needs to quit and find another job until she grows up and matures and is capable of addressing customers with a minimum of respect. NEVER PATRONIZE ENCORE SHOE DEPARTMENT.

They always want to re-schedule for a later showing. Getting a woman in a store to try on dresses is hard enough without making her feel pressured or self conscious. Tonight, same thing, they wanted to rush us out of the store so they could get to the 'real' work of vacuuming and cleaning the mirrors for closing. They won't consider staying an extra 1/2 hour after closing to help a woman buy a $1000 dress? My fiancée would rather model dresses after hours when no other patrons can judge her. Now, we'll just order a dozen dresses from Amazon, make a selection, and send the ones back we don't like. I forecast another bankruptcy for David's Bridal, but for real next time.

On top of my challenges, I'm plus-sized petite. Shopping can be quite discouraging. I was well-taken care of and treated with respect and I left knowing that I will look beautiful for my vow renewal.
