I would not normally write a review for a retail shop but because of my great experience here I am obliging. With super cute visual merchandising including spools of yarn, open books, a shoppable tree and more, this shop is a joy to walk around in. Beyond that, they have a great variety of tops, bottoms, accessories and warm weather wears. The best part is, it is VERY affordable for being a smaller boutique shop. I bought gloves, earrings, scrunchies, a sweater, dress, socks and an oven mitt for 100$. Typically one item in a boutique could be $100. Not to mention the owner and the gal working, Robin, were SO nice, warm and welcoming. If I'm ever in Grand Junction again, I will certainly be by. read more

Wow. Walked in this morning to browse while waiting for my daughter. Three girls at the counter and not one spoke to me, welcomed me to the store, asked me if they could help me, etc. They were busy talking about Swifter covers, admiring what they were wearing, and looking at their phones. I'm obsessed with this place. The customer service and clothes are super great. The clothes may seem pricey. but for the quality you can't get anything better. I live in Denver, but was in Junction for the weekend and had an itch to do some shopping. We were eating across the street at the Dream Cafe, so we stopped in. This place is ADORABLE! It is one of the few clothing boutiques I have been in that I could afford. The other reviewer put $$$, but... comparatively, it's not. I got necklace (most jewelry is around $15-$25) and a trendy, hooded sweatshirt dress that was about $20. I can hardly shop at Forever 21 for those prices! They had everything from accessories, purses, leggings, to dresses, blouses, jeans (that looked designer and were only $42!) I would DEFINITELY recommend this store. I have always loved the styles of clothes I find at Pollux, and the wonderful staff! But, I have 3 or 4 different pieces I have hand washed in cold water, and laid flat to dry. Nothing ever gets the original shape back, and I even had one dress start to unravel at the seams, after one wear. I am terribly disappointed and saddened, as this has the cutest, most original clothes in town. I will definitely pay more attention to the quality of the clothes before I buy, if I ever buy from here again. read more

This is pretty much the only place in junction to find "original" woman's clothing, unless you are a used clothing hound. As per usual when it comes to Boutiques, they are a little on the pricey side, but hey, you get what you pay for. They do boast a GREAT selection of jewelry, most of which is really reasonably priced. For those who are in the market for a new handbag, they carry those as well. If anything, it's a fun shop to stop into when downtown. But, if you're looking to get a gal a less run-of-the-mill, "Target" kind of thing, this is definitely the place to go. read more

I LOVE this store! I no longer live in Grand Junction but every time I come to town I stop here and have yet to walk out empty handed. I rarely buy clothes elsewhere! Everything I buy at Pollux receives compliments when I wear it out. The store itself is always charmingly decorated and a pleasure to shop. Comfy and stylish seating outside the dressing rooms for the men you drag along and TOYS FOR YOUR KIDDOS! They know that moms want to look good too! The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have seen them call their equally fabulous Montrose location to track down items for customers. An absolute must visit in my opinion! read more

Why is a guy reviewing a woman's clothing store? I have a preteen daughter who I take here, and she loves being treated like a real lady. She's tall for her age and the sophisticated clothes fit her fine. You won't find clothes like this anywhere else in Grand Junction, and she loves that, as well as the personal attention. read more

I have family in Grand Junction, and one of the highlights of visiting them is coming to this store. Being from LA, I'm used to fashionable boutiques on every block, but honestly- none really incite thrill in me like Pollux does! I always come home laden with fashionable accessories! This store is awesome. There are tons of great clothes and accessories and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was really nice and helpful. Right now there is a holiday tree decorated with tons of cute scarves and hats so that was a creative way to display some products. Unique pieces of clothing that are very moderately priced. They get new clothing in on a regular basis, so keep checking back for the original outfit you want. The staff is very helpful and the overall vibe is eclectic and cool.
