I needed a car with a quickness due to my old car being declared a total loss by insurance. I already had a car in mind from their inventory (2017 Hyundai Elantra SE, 26k miles) and within a few days, I made an appointment for a test drive and placed a deposit. I needed.about ten days to raise the down payment (25%) Jay was completely patient and at no point did I feel rushed. I picked up the car today. It rides beautifully, looks awesome and I definitely feel like my time and money were well-spent. These guys also didn't hard sell. I explained my situation, they came up with options. Totally relaxed atmosphere. For people with challenged credit (I've got 100k in student loans and other issues) options can be limited and after getting jerked around at other places, I was about to give up. That's when I came across Shantok. I'm glad I did. Jay is great; easy to talk to, practical and friendly and Will is awesome when it comes structuring the deal. Terms were good. A lot of Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) dealers have 15 year old cars with 200,000 miles on them. Shantok's selection is pretty good, their prices are reasonable and their financing is workable. I'd definitely recommend and if you're a buyer with challenged credit, stopping by is a must. They didn't make me feel embarrassed, they connected me with a solution and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I noticed there are some reviews here with 1-star ratings, but I stand by my first impressions. Hopefully I can stay confident. I think at the end of the day, many of these reviews are from people who don't fully comprehend the gravity of their financial situations. When you need a solution outside of traditional car financing, you shop at the level you're at, not above your pay grade and this was a perfect fit for me.
