Best HEB around, at least in my opinion…read more Lots of parking. LOTS of shopping carts, too - no hunting for them out in the parking lot. Well organized store with a wide variety of stock. Friendly and helpful employees, too. Shout out to Latoya in the Deli department. She is always so cheerful and fun! And she does the absolute best job slicing up any deli meats or cheeses you want. I literally look for her whenever I'm in the store because I know without a doubt that she will slice things EXACTLY the way I ask her to. Decent meat and fish counter as well as a pretty-well stocked wine and beer area. If you're looking for craft beer, make sure you check out the out-of-refrigerator area on the shelf: many national craft breweries represented there, and we've found some great brews. My only gripe with HEB is their continual replacement of brand names with their own private label items. Some of it is interchangeable, but some items are just not the same. So wish they carried Lays Salt & Vinegar chips rather than just the HEB brand, because then I wouldn't have to drive over to Kroger to get my fix! Otherwise, this is still my fave HEB. After visiting other HEB locations and other grocery stores both locally and in other states, I realize how spoiled I have become because this store is so convenient and comprehensive. And when I saw the multiple tables set up with phone chargers and computers in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, it kind of sealed my opinion that this is a really great store.

Return was a quick and easy process without any issues. Stopped by the deli a few times however I kept getting caught behind customers ordering the same wings I wanted to buy. Each time I decided to come back, I was stuck behind another person. After the second person, I decided okay the wings are running out, I should stay here before it's all gone. By the time I was next, the wings leftover wasn't worth purchasing... mind you 12 wings is about $15+. I asked if they could make me a fresh back, and that they did! No questions asked! Took them about 7 mins and I came back in 10, just in time for them to set them out. The guy picked me out the best wings and I was super happy! Definitely will be stopping by here again for my wings craving if I am ever back in this area!

I was at self-checkout once, and the screen prompted me to rate my experience from 0-5 stars. I kid you not, and employee walked up and pressed the 5 stars and walked away. There were times when the price of something wouldn't match the price I'd get when the item was scanned, so I brought it to their attention. They told me to put it back since they can't help me. A couple of times, I was treated as a thief even though I was holding a receipt in my hand and the employee stopped me and had to look at my receipt even though they literally watched me check out and wait for my receipt to print. I once found an open moisturizer with most of the contents taken out and brought it to an employee's attention. She said, thanks for letting me know, and then proceeded to put it back on the shelf and walked away. Employees are rude and disrespectful and store is always a mess with items not even put up. They are disgusting

As I had a really good experience with a recent vaccination, I came back to the same location after considering the other options. The pharmacist changes frequently so the previous guy I got was just there for a while. They will ask for insurance, verify coverage then come out to administer the shot in a room. The lady asked if I wanted shots on left, right or both arms. It was done quickly and a plaster applied. They give you a $10 off $20 CVS voucher per vaccination and also a pack of house brand popcorn. That was a nice incentive to choose CVS. The lady suggested two more vaccinations that were covered by insurance. One was abrysvo - rsv. The other was prenar - pneumonia. They were vaccinations you had to do just once. I decided to hold off and do my research. Two vaccinations in a row were enough. I did get side effects from the flu and covid shot. They were bodyaches, felt light bump on the injection site, felt hard to the touch the next day like boxed on left arm. Symptoms were gone on Day 3 except for a little round bump where the injection was. I got the pharmacist to write the vaccinations on the card, they didn't have the cards but could write it on a card where I had tracked prior vaccinations. It's super convenient but there is a wait time depending on the timing. It's good to get it done and over with.

She said "no you weren't. We checked." And she closed the window. This conversation happened at 6:01pm.

Conveniently located with ample parking, I usually hit up this Walgreens for several specific…read morereasons: 1. Photo processing: The Walgreens website for photo submission and orders is easy. Choose an old or new album, upload your pictures, choose the ones you want printed and the quantity and check out. Choose your location and whether you want to pay online or in store. Enter a coupon code if you've got one. A snap. Deduction of a star on this one, though, because recently Walgreens requires you to have one of their cards to use their photo coupons (and I abhor those silly tracking cards) and sometimes pick up can be very slow. Quality of prints is very good, at least for the 4 x 6 option that I choose. Prints are cheap even without a coupon. 2. Children's medicine: For some reason other drug stores and grocery stores with pharmacy sections are limiting the choices for children's cold and allergy medications, making it difficult to find certain brands. Walgreens has a comprehensive selection of multiple brands, so if you know something works for you and you want to stick with it, you can find it here. 3. Certain specialty lotions: Palmer's Cocoa Butter is a staple in my house (great for reducing scars and for very dry skin) and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. Check out can be laboriously slow sometimes, though. Often only one lane will be open; if someone in front of you has multiple coupons or a redemption of some sort, that only slows the lane down even more. Also, now it seems that in order to get sale prices on any item advertised in their weekly circular, you must have a Walgreens card. Not a fan of those cards, so that's definitely going to limit what I purchase here. Reduction of a star for requiring people to be muscled into joining their "rewards" program.
