Windrose Acupuncture offers a holistic approach to help you navigate the challenging times. We use acupuncture and the traditions of Asian Medicine to encourage the body's own natural healing mechanisms. Along with treatment, we suggest lifestyle strategies focused on diet, exercise, and meditation to support your healing process between visits.
Each moment of our lives is influenced by a prevailing force, a situation or a condition which affects our energy, our mood, our state of mind. Hopefully you savor those moments when conditions are just right: when you have physical and emotional health, family harmony, success in a job you love. But sometimes the prevailing force disrupts the enjoyment of life...when you incur an injury, an illness, grief, excessive stress, a difficult relationship. The effects of these strains can be both physical and emotional.
If you are suffering due to the prevailing force in your life, please book your appointment today.
History
Established in 2017.
After nearly 25 years in the corporate world, I decided to pursue a new career. My dream was to work directly with individuals seeking to achieve balance and wellness in their lives. As an acupuncturist that dream is now a reality. My goal at Windrose Acupuncture is to offer holistic care in a compassionate setting. As a resident of Philadelphia, I opened my clinic in Center City so that I could offer my services to those living and working my community. I hope to see you soon.
Meet the Business Owner: Julie M.
Julie Moore is a NCCAOM Board Certified licensed Acupuncturist and holds Masters degrees in both Acupuncture Studies and Business Administration. Through effective use of Acupuncture and other Asian Medicine therapies (cupping, Asian Therapeutic Massage, moxibustion) she has enabled patients to overcome physical and emotional barriers to achieve wellness and balance in their lives.
An avid cyclist and former corporate executive, Julie has suffered, first-hand, the effects of a too-busy lifestyle, the stresses of balancing work and family, and the pain of sports-related injuries. Ultimately she turned to Acupuncture as a comprehensive mind/body healing approach and has personally experienced profound results.
Julie's practice is influenced by her studies both in the US and in South Korea. She integrates multiple styles including TCM, Five Element, Korean, Sports/Myofascial acupuncture along with Asian Therapeutic Massage techniques including Tuina and Shiatsu.
