I was worried we would run into issues since I have an older home but Ronnie walked me through the process and confirmed the finishing details were to my liking. Great overall service and the final product looked sleek and professional. Also, the price was right. Will be reaching out for them to do my windows here soon!

From Lori R in sales (great follow up), Mike in Service (saved our project - our hero), Traci in Scheduling (nicest!!) and Paola and Steven in finishing, they all have been incredible. We were recommended Love That Door by our neighbor who had recently purchased a beautiful custom…read moredoor. We were told their doors and professionalism was top notch. It took about 5 months for our door to be completed and installed. The door is indeed beautiful but at the time of purchase, we were unsure between midnight or midnight with copper color (both included at no charge) and were told we could always add the copper after the door was installed at no charge when we could make a better decision. So after installation, we decided do a light copper edging. The painter was told not to do it and we were told there would be a charge but they did not know how much they'll charge. I tried reaching out by phone, email, and text. It has been about a month and still no response regarding finishing the door. Everything was great up to this point. I do not feel that I should be nickeled and dimed for something that was included at the time of purchase then ignored after making such a large purchase. Extremely disappointed.

Once Johnny was available he joined me to discuss the doors and their features, gave me a demo, walked me through the customization options, and answered my questions. The doors are very good quality and I love the ability to customize the look and the prices are great. Mr. Gray is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable about his product line and made a same day visit to measure and begin working on my quote, which was a nice surprise. Most importantly, while the website is nice and you can use their online tool to see what a door would look like on your home, I recommend you go in person to the showroom because doors look so much better in person, the demonstration is extremely helpful, and the staff is very helpful and welcoming!

I found D&J Iron Doors online and noticed they had beautiful Iron doors . I stop by and showed them pictures which they had me to email the pics and measurements up of my old door. They had a new door that I liked in stock. They sent me a turnkey quote that included everything involved with the install including trim and paint. It started raining so they weren't able to finish the same day but they made sure the new door was installed and sealed up from the elements. The new door was about 2 inches narrower than the existing so it involved extra framing. The installers came back the next day with wider than normal trim to adjust for the narrower door. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect. I highly recommend Johnny @ D&J Builders Surplus Iron Doors and their installers! The new door is way better made. It is super heavy duty and seals up nice!

He immediately asked for a photo without gathering any details about the windows. I explained that the damage wouldn't show in a picture, but he insisted that photo‑based estimates are his standard process, with in‑person measurements only after agreeing to the estimate. This process felt impersonal and did not inspire confidence. While this may work for some customers, it did not meet my expectations for a service provider. I decided to look for a company that offers a more reassuring initial assessment.
