The staff working were so kind, funny, and helpful. They obviously love their jobs and are passionate about books. The store is small but clean and comfortable. It has a great selection of older and newer books. I found several vintage cookbooks, a gift for a family member, and I'm coming back around Christmas just for their kid section. We bought five books total and only spent $85-ish. The books I found were totally worth the price. It was like hitting the jackpot. Would I return? Oh my yes! Over and over again. This is such an amazing small local business to support, and I will be a lifelong customer.

Before we browsed the vast bookshelves we enjoyed mugs of excellent coffee. And if that wasn't enough we found a secret passage leading to a most amazing homemade donut shop. I won't tell you more except to suggest you owe it to yourself and someone you love to discover this fabulous experience.

I looked around in the cafe area in the Eugene Public Library lobby. There was a small hidden door open and a small rack with books. I walked in, and wow, just books crammed in every possible spot on a large number of shelves. In the front are primarily children's books and some locally featured artwork on cards and bookmarks for sale. As you walk more, there's a variety of genres and even DVDs, Blu-Rays, and even some manga. It is worth walking in to find hidden treasures or books/media you didn't know you needed! The bookstore does have some specialty media and antiques/vintages. Unfortunately, I did not get a good view because of the worker fixing the chair, but it is in a locked glass case on the wall. I wasn't greeted, and there were 2 workers trying to fix an office chair, in the cramped and small bookstore. I believe it is run by volunteers. The checkout was relatively quick and easy. There is a set menu price for all media, and they accept cards (using Square) and cash. Overall, I would love to stop by again and find some more neat books. They are decently priced, especially when you find a book that is unique or one you might have had on your list for a while!

Like a LOT of white comic boxes. Organization is not the prime directive here, but the selection, new/used/valuable is good and the staff is the right amount of nerdy knowledgeable with out being nerdy elitist - you know the type... "Oh, you just started collecting TMNT and don't know about Groo the Wanderer..." Prices are retail for new stuff. A sleeve and board will set you back $0.25. Collectables are priced in line with the Overstreet guide, but they can be a little optimistic on the grading, so margin hard. I have never sold any used comics to them (hoarder!) and I cannot speak to pricing there, but they are legit is every other aspect that I have dealt with this on. My husband was looking for a small local toy store to go buy a birthday gift for our baby nephew. So this is the store we picked. We'd planned to go to Target as a backup plan. I'd also fully expected we would go in here and find something and have to buy it on Amazon because it would be significantly cheaper. But that wasn't the case, and that made me so happy. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, even for things that are normally insane and overpriced. I was really impressed. The staff that are working clearly love their job and are incredibly helpful. They greeted us when we walked in, let us explore, and answered all of our questions, taking us to certain aisles and showed us things. We were definitely welcomed in the store. We ended up buying two toys for our nephew's first birthday, and I'm definitely coming back when Christmas comes closer. This is such an amazing small local business to support and everyone should take the time to stop by.
