Just know they subcontract people to install and then don't check to make sure it's done correctly. If I knew how to install windows I would have done it myself. After they were installed I had my home painted and the painters said window world never caulked my windows. I called window world and they were upset that I didn't bring up the issue after they were installed but how is that my fault? I don't install windows I don't know what they're supposed to do. Then I told them my painters were doing it for them and they were upset that I didn't have them stop then get window world to come out before but then that cuts into my painters job. Just feels like they don't want to take fault where it's due. Windows are good but just find their manufacturer and get someone else to install them cause window world ain't it. read more

I had two guys show up, one being the lead and the other who did the bulk of the work. Tje guy doing the bulk of the work had only been doing this for three month...never did this kind of work before. The lead couldn't do a lot because he had a bad shoulder. Im glad that I watched them as they were installing my from windows, they left gaps between the windows. The windows are supposed to be insulated but does do much good when they are not attached tightly against each other. I spoke with the lead to show him the gaps and he said, no problem, it will be sealed air right when they are done...what that meant is that he put plastic facial strips to cover all of the bad work. I sent pictures to Tiffany at Window World, she said that she would review them and get back with me and she did...stating that the windows are installed properly and are sound. I paid for professional installation but that isn't what I ended up with. Please be careful and do your homework before hiring someone. read more

Don't trust this company. The products are outstanding but, the company does not know how to install their doors and windows as per windcorewindows.com drawings and specifications. I tried several times for months to contact someone from this company other than a tech or scheduler. I even asked if I could talk to a supervisor or the own, They took my name and number but never returned my call. The only the owner responded to was when I contacted the BBB. The only thing the owner said was if there was any issues they would back their warranty. Now six months later and one of our doors will not close properly and the windows will not stay open. We contact window world, sent them pictures, and was told someone will call and schedule a tech to come out and fix the issues. It's been almost four weeks and still no one has called. Call them several times and still not able to get a scheduled date. read more

If I could give a negative star, I would. Nothing and I mean NOTHING about this entire 6 month ordeal was pleasant and all I did was replace ONE WINDOW!! When they failed to deliver the second time they suggested that I board up the back of my house !!! Not enough space to list all the screw ups, just know that it was a nightmare from beginning to end and I will NEVER use this company again nor refer even my worst enemy to them. They did a great job, I had 10 windows installed and they finished in 1 day. The lead crew leader Justin was great. The only problem I have is the other crew broke out their windows leaving slivers of glass everywhere. Otherwise I couldn't be happier. read more

Quick to quote and take your money, slow to order and install. Contacting them has been a horrible experience, normally I played phone tag with an answering service. I often wondered if window world was a business at all. I really want to kick my new windows out and start over with someone new. Buyer beware!!! read more

If you plan on using Window World, beware of the salesperson. I asked to have windows replaced in my house that were exactly like ones I have in a townhouse I own. This was with full screens and custom sliding doors. When they came to install the windows they put in half screens. This is my fault for not reading the contract. I thought the salesmen to be trustworthy. The real problem was with the sliding doors which were not custom. One door was off by 6 inches wide and another 3 inches in height. I have a brick house and they wanted to frame the window out. I said no and they said I would have to pay another $900 to get the two Sliding doors to be custom. This made the cost greater than any other quotes I received. The windows are OK. The tops do not stay up when you open the bottoms, thus full screens are absolutely necessary.
