They steam cleaned everything and sealed and painted the inside. Our second project was to enclose our attached garage, which included removing the old garage door, building and finishing the wall to enclose the garage and adding a new door. They also repaired a lose ridge vent on our roof. The crew is very professional. They hauled away all the debris, and the site was spotless when they were finished. I highly recommend Mcwhorter Painting Contractors and will certainly be using them again.

My wife and I initially tried to use someone our realtor recommend which ended up not working out. So Jermey and his crew had to work behind original DIY work and other horrible work from other contractors. If you are not familiar with painting this is a worst care scenario. There were so many imperfections that were corrected throughout the process. They pay attention to all of the small details which make a huge difference in the end result. Not to mention they are open to new ideas and recommendations along the way. Along with working around us while we were still trying to move in our new home. Jeremy is easy to work with and doesn't give up until the end product is perfect. We had everything done from painting walls, painting ceilings, repairs walls, building barn doors from scratch, hanging barn door hardware, and framing/staining mirrors. If you want someone thats is going to do a great job and take pride in their work then look no further! I appreciate what they did so much that it won't be long until they are back to help with some exterior repairs that need to take place. Do yourself a favor and give Jeremy a call. Richard pointed everything out, sent us an affordable quote and we went with it. I cannot say enough kind words about Richard. He is what a real handyman should be not trying to swindle you like most other repair people would do. We were so impressed with his work that my sister and my brother-in-law, (who is extremely picky when it comes to hiring repair men) have hired him for their own repairs.

We had a plumber come in and that alone cost us $10,000 to undo the plumbing they done inside of our foundation. In addition to that we have had to have both tile and electrical work redone because the work the did was not up to code according to the new contractors. I'm extremely disappointed in this company that we had worked with for years.

I have contracted these guys to do a couple small Jobs for me in the past. They have done a decent…read morejob. My Mother in Law even used them. We were impressed. BUT Sunday 4/16/23 They came to my house to repair a small hole in my roof and to dig a trench and paint a leak proof seal. They told me "They couldn't Sleep" if they Just did the double coat on the sealant and buried it wet. So they said they would be back the next day. I did pay them the whole amount an expenses for the whole job. Monday the 17th they texted and said they would be there tomorrow to finish ( 4/18) and asked if I would be home. I said Yes. On Tuesday the 18th at 12pm I texted and asked about when would they be here. He said he was waiting at Lowes for some materials and he would be here after they got it around 3pm. On Wednesday I messaged and they said they were at the hospital with their dad. Promised they would be here after he was stable. Which of course was fine I told them I would put them in my prayers. Friday I got a text that was intended for someone else after not hearing from them. I politely asked when they would be back . He said he just got home and would be here tomorrow (Saturday 4/21). On Saturday I messaged them and did not get a response. Also messaged on Sunday and Tuesday. Also called 2 times where i was sent straight to voicemail. SO as of now I have a job that has been paid in full for and they refuse to complete the work or even communicate with me. I am very understanding and they could give me a date 2 weeks out and that would be fine, if they showed. After meeting them I would have never thought they would do someone like this. But I guess u never know. MAKE SURE they complete the JOB before you pay them . Even today if they would contact me and complete this job or Give me a date where they actually show up. I would forgive and forget and remove this review. But as of now I do not want anyone else to get screwed out of their money like I have. Next call will be the Better Business Bureau. Please call me like an adult business owner and work this out. So you don't get a bad review and My house doesn't get ruined because u didn't finish what i contracted u to do.
