They steam cleaned everything and sealed and painted the inside. Our second project was to enclose our attached garage, which included removing the old garage door, building and finishing the wall to enclose the garage and adding a new door. They also repaired a lose ridge vent on our roof. The crew is very professional. They hauled away all the debris, and the site was spotless when they were finished. I highly recommend Mcwhorter Painting Contractors and will certainly be using them again.

My wife and I initially tried to use someone our realtor recommend which ended up not working out. So Jermey and his crew had to work behind original DIY work and other horrible work from other contractors. If you are not familiar with painting this is a worst care scenario. There were so many imperfections that were corrected throughout the process. They pay attention to all of the small details which make a huge difference in the end result. Not to mention they are open to new ideas and recommendations along the way. Along with working around us while we were still trying to move in our new home. Jeremy is easy to work with and doesn't give up until the end product is perfect. We had everything done from painting walls, painting ceilings, repairs walls, building barn doors from scratch, hanging barn door hardware, and framing/staining mirrors. If you want someone thats is going to do a great job and take pride in their work then look no further! I appreciate what they did so much that it won't be long until they are back to help with some exterior repairs that need to take place. Do yourself a favor and give Jeremy a call. You will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately for them, they underestimated the problems the tile would give them and what should have been a couple hour project turned into all day because of the material I chose. They did not ask for more money despite the job taking WAY longer than anticipated. Job turned out great, despite their troubles. These are a husband and wife team and are very good people. We have a few other projects in the future that we will not hesitate to hire them.

First off, let me apologize if you have seen this review on another site and believe it to be bogus…read morebecause you've seen it posted on other sites. It's not, and I have a good reason for why I reposted it. When I started looking for a tile person (installing) in Ocean Springs, I found numerous listings, but NONE of them had any reviews! I admit, I am an "online" person, and if you're like me, you don't like to hire blind! So, now, I've hired someone, and love their work and I'm trying to post it on the sites I first searched in an attempt to help others like me looking for any guidance. When I first discovered a horrid, awful smell in my father's one carpeted room, I ran to the internet to find someone fast to remove it! I called about 10 companies listed. Only 1 called me back that day. A second called be back the next day. That was it. Lucky for me, and my grumpy old redneck father, the one was all we could have asked for and more! Rob, and his longtime friend, Billy, showed up the next day, ripped out the offending carpet, picked up my order at a local store (later, making sure I was credited for extra not used, without me having to go there myself!) and installed my tile choice perfectly!!!! Rob made sure my father felt confident in his service and his loyalty to a tough customer, no matter what. I feel like I got not only the best tile person in Ocean Springs, or the Gulf Coast, but a lifelong friend of the family! He showed up, he did the work in a timely and beautiful fashion, and we can't say enough about him or his business! I hope my family has helped you with your decision making process. Best of luck! Tina

Gave multiple excuses and it's been months since we've paid for the job. They just started doing contracting in addition to the painting business. Also, she charge us to replace things such as, door knobs, garbage disposal, air vents, etc but used our old ones. We love to support local businesses but in this case it was a SCAM. All the reviews are old and I'm here to update with my recent experience with them. Now my 75 year old dad is stuck finishing up the job they left. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

I called to their business three different times on three different days and did get a callback eventually. They have agreed to come out and make things right, which makes me a happier customer. I was concerned, initially, about service after the sale but they have come through to make things good. The communications problem did give me pause but it happens.
