I set an appointment for 8:30 on a Saturday. I was running a few min late and they even called me to make sure I was still coming so they could accommodate me as soon as I arrived. They then explained all of the window tint options and even have tool to demonstrate how the different window tints will block heat. I opted to go with the 3m carbon as it was cheaper than ceramic heat resistant tint. The tinting took about an hour and a half or less. Another amazing tint job by Randy, Tania and the team at Window Tints Glendale! There are only a handful of shops that I trust with any of my BMWs and this is one of them. It can be difficult to find a quality tint shop with so many in Los Angels, especially when you value quality over absolute crap. Truth be told, if you're looking for a $99 tint job this isn't the shop for you. I love that Window Tints carries only high quality films, 3M Crystalline being my poison of choice. It's reassuring to know that I can see film samples on my car before I make a decision, don't have to worry that my car will be damaged and that they absolutely stand behind their work. They also installed clear bra on my entire front end and will be wrapping my roof next week. Randy even hand cut my clear bra on my last BMW as I had an aftermarket aero kit that every tint shop said they couldn't work on because it couldn't be computer cut. There is pretty much nothing they can't do and Randy always has a precise answer for me no matter how many questions I ask about the install or product. I came here for the official 3M tint, I had no idea how bad their service was! I read all of these great reviews so I was stoked to come here and get my tint done. Sadly this place is a real gem when it comes to customer service and the tint job isn't much better. I booked an appointment with Tanya, I should have known on the initial call service wasn't a strong suit when she put me on hold for 15 minutes. I literally hung up and called back, she said she got caught up with another customer while I was on hold. Really? I guess at least she is honest. So I book my appointment for a few days later at the Hollywood location, I was told it would take about an hour and a half, it ended up being more like 3 and a half since they had another car I think they squeezed in between work on mine. I had ll windows done except for windshield. This is far from my first tint job so I go to pick up my car and I look at the work, I notice the tint is coming off on the right rear window at bottom of my window, another pretty small but very noticeable bubble on my rear left window directly in the middle, and the rear tint isn't clean around the window lines. I tell the guy who worked on it, super nice guy, and he pushes the tint down with his little tool on the rear and rear right window. Still not clean yet but he assures me it will be and if its still happening after 5 days(time to settle understandably) then to come back and see what he can do. I call Tanya to inform her of the situation in case I need to come back and she brushes me off. 7 days later and still all bubbles are exactly as they were and the peeling is still occurring. I call Tanya to let her know and she says it needs to be inspected by their staff and she scheduled an appointment for me to go back to have the team look at it. I take it in for my scheduled appointment and there is one guy there who doesn't work on tint and he tells me the main tech is gone on another job. Really? Really? What is the point of an appointment? I call Tanya and she brushes me off again and says they can't schedule a fix until they review it themselves. I'm pretty pissed off at this point but you know what, OK, I'll bring it back in on my time. A few days later I stop in and the tech is there. I show him the issues and he says the bubble is from glue in between the tint and the window and would have to be redone. The other window that has been peeling needs to be redone. So i say ok lets redo the 2 windows, in which he turns to me and says "Well that glue isn't a real problem, its not that bad, do you really want me to go through the work of redoing it again?" Ummmmmm, YES buddy, this bubble is actually a pretty nice size directly in the middle of my window and of 5 windows you did 2 have issues, clearly I expect both redone. So he says I need to call Tanya and make another appointment. This is getting pretty old. Ok, well I call Tanya and tell her the scoop and that I need another appointment, she says she needs to verify with the tech and then get back to me. Here is where things get extra annoying...... She never calls back! I call twice that same week and get ducked and told she will call me when she is available. She NEVER calls! so the next week I call again and call the week after that. Nothing, just my messages probably being thrown away. At this point I gave up, this company clearly doesn't care to do Quality Work and clearly has no care at all for Customer Service. Getting tinting done seemed like a great idea that could possibly go wrong pretty easily. I was afraid to find myself in a shop with some shady character giving me the crappy stuff while charging me for the good stuff. Well, that didn't happen! These people are down-to-Earth, nice, cool people. The shop is clean, airy and pleasant. The work was done professionally and on time and I could either walk to the mall or watch their big screen TV in their comfortable waiting room. I did both. BTW I found this shop on 3M's website. (3M is the tint company I wanted) and when at the shop Tanya explained to me the procedures that 3M has in place to ensure the dealers are actually giving customers the good stuff... When the job was finished they put a sticker on your door making sure you don't roll down your windows for 48 hours and I can see quality in my windows. I came in on a Friday (same day appointment) and was informed with enough information to make an informed decision. Tanya was fantastic and very friendly.
