For background - My car was previously tinted at another business with 3M crystalline film with a lifetime warranty. The tint was getting wrinkled and starting to peel after 10 years. Unfortunately that business no longer carries 3M so I was referred directly to United Tint by 3M. I got in touch with Lucy and was able to quickly make an appointment. I took my car in and was able to wait and work in lobby area since there were chairs and free WiFi! Lucy was so friendly and helpful and the guys did a great job! Called beforehand to get a quote for a Corolla Cross. Lucy told me it was $550 for front and rear windows for Ceramic IR. Set up an appointment the next day. When I came in to my appointment it was still the agreed price. Rolando greeted me as I pulled in and he explained very thoroughly my options. He is very knowledgeable and helped me choose the right tint percentage I wanted. I decided to do 15% on rear windows (on top of factory tint) and 25% on the passenger/driver windows. He said it would take about 2-3 hours to do the tint and that I can wait at the lobby. They offer coffee and they do have a restroom! I got a call 2 hours later that my car was ready and I was very pleased with how it turned out. Lucy made the purchasing process smooth. A day prior to my appointment- I called to get a quote on my Acura TLX. The very nice receptionist Lucy gave me a quote and when I came in for my appointment my quote was still at the agreed price. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Rolando- very nice man by the way! He was very informative when presenting the various types of tints they offer. I selected the 3M FX PREMIUM- 15% fronts, 5% rear... and the good thing is it comes with Lifetime Warranty! After selecting what I wanted, he stated it would take 2-3 hours (in which it did) and he offered my mother and I to sit in the lobby to wait if we'd like but we decided to walk around while we wait. I had my Toyota Supra tinted with CR20 (Crystalline 20%) and it came out flawless. Some people seem to complain of a purplish hue,(Tesla owners) but I haven't noticed that on my car. It looks black from the outside, but brownish/smokey from the inside. (Sorta like Ray Ban sunglasses) I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase and will be returning for my front windshield. When u come in she explains to you how if u have cuts or scrapes on your window they will ask u first before installing in case of lifting. I've taken my car, my dads car, and the other car, recommended my two cousins to bring their Honda Accords, and now our prius. Suppppppper amazing service by Jack and his brother. The 3M has lifetime warranty and the quality of work is great. Clean business, clean bathroom, and the environment is comfortable. 2014: My experience here was amazing. Called Friday afternoon to get some quotes for my car. Read a lot of the reviews on here and I was impressed. Jack was very nice on the phone and what he quoted me on the phone was the same as in person. Called Saturday morning to see if he can squeeze me in and he was able to. Came in at around 110pm and he brought me to his office to go over which tints I want, warranty, etc. I only got the rear ones done and I'll see later if I want the front ones done. Anyways, there's a lobby area that's really comfortable. There's a clean bathroom because you know how us females get, a refrigerator for FREE drinks, comfortable chairs, and TV. Overall, my experience with Jack was great. I didn't feel uncomfortable when I walked in and spoked to him. I didn't feel judged by the car I drove, etc. Because I've seen some high end cars being done here. It took about an hr or maybe less to do the rear. He mentioned not to open the back windows for 48hrs and they put a sticker that has directions for the rear. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for your tinting needs. After going home and speaking with one of the owners Nivia who was really pleasant to work with she end up working it out for me and getting my car in on another day.
