We were looking for a place to fix a window that had broke. When our old window company said that they did not want to drive out to Lakeside from Chula Vista. We found Widow Techs card one mourning while at Cafe 67 and thought that we would give them a call. They came out and measured the window and said that it would take 2 weeks before the could install it because it had to be custom made. The two weeks past and they came out and installed the window and were done in 15 mins. They did a great job. I hope we don't have any more broken windows but if we do I would use Window Tech again. read more

I called again and spoke to a girl and was advised that whoever scheduled me, isn't supposed to be answering calls. She came out and deemed entire window needed replaced. However, never sent the estimate. I've called 3-4 times and get no return call. I've left several messages! I'm over it and onto another company! We meet with multiple window replacement companies for quotes on replacing all the windows and 1 sliding glass door at our home. From the minute we met with Matt and then receiving his bid, we knew we had found a honest, knowledgeable craftsman. Matt and his crew did the work today and we are extremely pleased with not only the quality of the Milgard windows and sliding door, but the skill and care Matt displays when doing the installation. We had new vertical blinds that presented a challenge when choosing new windows that would allow the blinds to continue to fit flush within the window frame. With Matt's knowledge of the Milgard line of windows, he helped us find the best window for our situation. The other window reps just brushed us off saying 'there was nothing they could do' and the verticals would have to be mounted differently. We had all of the windows replaced in our house. The windows were in bad shape and lots of different types. I called and Matt came over on the weekend to take a look, the estimating process was easy, he measured and emailed me the estimate in a day or so. The price was a little higher than another estimate we received, but I felt better with Matt because he would be the person installing and he clearly knew what he was doing with the windows. We were very impressed with the windows. All were installed in one day on Memorial Day, yes a holiday by Matt, his father and his brother in law. We had Matt measure for an 800 dollar shower door. We paid half up front 4 weeks before Easter. He indicated it would be 10 days before install. Just wanted it before company coming for Easter. Three measurements later and an install the Thursday before Easter and the door didn't fit. Matt's answer was to bad I am on my way to Vegas, I will refund your 400 to your credit card.
