We used Castlehouse to install our motorized roller shades. Love them. Jaren was also great at installation and programming.

Very suboptimal service. Installed windows that leaked. They had their expert, Brad, come and take a look. He found a lot of poor caulking that had to be re-done. Brad recommended that they return again to do a water-test to ensure adequate installation and caulking. The owner of the company, Terri, promised to do this, and kept making appointments with me then canceling on me. This has happened at least 4 times. It has been close to a year with empty promises and multiple excuses. I have been extremely, extremely patient, since I understand this is a small business and I wanted to give them every opportunity to make things right. At this point, I am left with no option but to make this visible and open for others to beware. Do not use this company. read more

I called Castlehouse Construction to replace 2 windows, they did agree to replace them, but they will charge me labor . I am waiting for this to happen since April 2024, They scheduled 2 Appointment, but they never showed or called to re-schedule?? However, I found I received excellent customer service with great detailed information, questions and suggestions on how to get the best product for my two projects. I went with Amsco casement windows. I love them! They look great and have durable and easy to operate hardware. This time I also ordered all my door from Castlehouse. We needed to replace our solar outdoor automated blinds. Brent came out and gave us an estimate on replacement blinds, but this time electric not solar. The batteries on the solar blinds last max 5 years and cost so much to replace it made no sense to install the same. After several companies estimates, we decided to go with Brent. He was anxious to do our job snd gave us a good price on 6 electric automated blinds. Our job was extensive. Most of the blinds were for our balcony windows, but one was for a custom window on the second floor where you could only reach it from very tall ladders. I was looking for a screen door option going out to my backyard. I used Yelp to look for quotes in San Diego from over 10 different businesses, but I went with Brent and his team at Castlehouse. Brent was able to come up quickly to talk about and show real live samples of the different screen door products available to meet my needs, which was great! Many of the other vendors I had out simply showed me a brochure, which didn't let me get the look and feel of the product I was possibly going to purchase. Now I have to preface from the order date to the install date did take a little longer than I would have wanted, but being realistic this was in the middle of Covid-19, and the supplier of the screen doors to Castlehouse was constrained, so kind of out of my hands there. The screen door itself came out great, easy enough for all members of my family (young and old) to use and operated. The install was quick for the single door (30-40 mins). Now I can enjoy the cross-breeze in the mornings and evenings come through my house without having to deal with flies getting into our house. This week I had six new windows put into my home by Castlehouse construction. I am very pleased with the work that Vincent and his helper did. They were very dedicated, efficient, polite and professional. I choose almond as the color as I have earthtone colored walls. They are dual paned. Our contractor purchased windows from Castlehouse. I am very pleased with the products received!! We chose Amsco windows. We upgraded and got extra thick glass to help reduce unwanted noise from our street. I had a tiny leak which I called to inquire about assuming it was due to the product. Castlehouse came out to inspect. They showed me that it was due to the install done by my contractor. Called my contractor and they fixed it right away. Very pleased how everything turned out.
