He helped us arrive at a suitable energy-efficient Simonton models to replace 5 of our windows at a reasonable price. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. They were professional and thorough from the initial visit, and even though I waited a few months to schedule the work, they honored the original quote without issue. Installation was quick and efficient. When the moulding didn't match my existing one, they replaced it with something much closer. They also followed up after the job and coordinated with an Anlin technician to fix a few minor issues. And they worked well alongside other contractors I had on-site, which made things much easier. I reached out to a few vendors, and Coughlin was by far the most helpful and informative. The whole process went smoothly, Kevin was very friendly and easy to work with; he provided the most information on what type of windows to get for our situation. He was very responsive and answered any questions we had. They also had very reasonable prices and detailed quotes. My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. It's been about a year and the windows still look great and work well (they're also much easier to slide open than our old windows). I would definitely recommend them!

I would hesitate because my house is a rental property but it is also my investment into the future knowing that any home improvement would increase the value of my house. I had a 20 year roof on my house and it had been thirty years so i decided to get my roof replaced. When they came to give an estimate i realized i should have them paint the house and do the gutters knowing that it would be cheaper to get it all done at once instead of separately . They just finished, and all i can say is wow. The new roof has made the house sooo much cooler; the tenants love it. Their SDGE bill was cut by 40% just by not having to use the AC that much. The paint job was beautiful and the rain gutters with the leaf filters are perfect. Make sure to ask for Edgar and Pete to as managers for the projects. We did have a rain delay and they kept me up to date with rescheduling Walk through went great. They left the house clean and took all tarping and trash away.
