Buyer be aware! I ordered a security door in bronze color with a security screen from this company. Instead I received a black colored storm door with an insect screen/not a security screen. The design on the door has a bunch of diamond cut outs, that fingers can get through and cut the insect screen and unlock the non security door they sold to me claiming that it was a security door. I spent a couple days communicating back and forth by email and phone with co-owners Alexis and Preston re: this issue. Alexis tells me this 36 x 80 inch door is a "custom" order, non refundable. Alexis also tells me that the flimsy screen on it is indeed a security screen, not an insect screen. Alexis tells me, that instead of a refund, she can give me 50% off of another security door style if I don't like the one I have now. What I believe in my strongest opinion is that the door that was delivered to my home is factually black in color, not bronze. It also has an insect screen not a security screen. It is 36 by 80 inches, a standard size. It's not about not liking it. It's about the fact that it is not a security door. I would even paint over the black color to make it the bronze color I was told I was buying if it was indeed a security door. It is not a security door. My strongest opinion is that it is a screen door that they are falsely selling as a security door. My opinion is also that Alexis and her brother co-owner Preston do not use storage for any of the doors they sell, including standard door sizes, so they think they can get away with calling all their orders "custom" non-refundable orders. My strongest opinion is that it is best to stay far away from this company. Home Depot sells a security door that is of higher quality, who's bronze color is actually bronze/not black, who's screen is actually a security screen and not an insect screen. BTW, Home Depot's door is also less expensive. I will be taking Alexis' and Preston's door with me to Small Claims Court to demonstrate the insect screen and black color to the Judge since I can't seem to get my money back from this company any other way. My strongest opinion is just avoid this company completely and go straight to the big chain store Home Depot, Lowes, or Dixieline. Learn from my mistake in wanting to support small, local businesses. This one just, in my strongest of strongest opinions, is not worth supporting. read more
