Window Hero installed gutter guards on my gutters two years ago. As part of the warranty they come and inspect them and blow leaves off of my roof. Today not only did they do that but they took a little extra time and blew off my front porch, sidewalk and driveway which was full of pine needles from my pine tree! WOW what a nice surprise! Labor Panes arrived at our house on Friday afternoon to wash our exterior windows. As requested, we wrote a check at the time of service. Early the next week, I got an email saying that payment was due at the time of service. I replied that I had given the crew a check and I gave them the check number. They replied, "thanks". Two days later I got another email asking for payment. I called and again said I paid the crew by check and gave the number. I was told the email is computer generated and I should ignore it. Unlike Labor Panes who must believe me to be a liar, I believed that all was well. Today Labor Panes called us confused because they had both our check and a charge to my charge card. I NEVER authorized a charge to my card. They retained my credit card information from a previous visit without my permission. Although they said they would remove the charge from my card I am angry and disappointed that they put an unauthorized charge on my card. BEWARE! If you give this company your credit card information, you have no control over how they will use/ abuse it. If you give a check to the crew who works at your house, there is apparently no efficient process for recording the payment at the time of service. What should be a simple process has become anything but simple. read more

Hello, I just wanted to bring some concerns to your attention. We requested to have a crew come out yesterday and clean the outside windows of the entire property/building and several residents complained that your workers left several empty bottles laying on the ground of the property, and some workers came back today to complete the job and they had Styrofoam containers with food laying on the ground ,and then they attempted to jam those containers into the small doggy waste cans and what didn't fit they just left them on the ground. I have used Labor Panes for some time now, including when their name was changed temporarily to Go To Crew. I have hired Labor Panes for window washing at my house as well as at my business. I manage commercial office buildings and have them come when needed. This last time, I needed a quick turn around on an office building and they did their best to help me out. We thought this service did a very good job cleaning our windows, as they also did cleaning our gutters several months ago. It was odd that I called for a quote prior to the job being done and never got one. The job was scheduled and I was promised that I would get a quote beforehand, but that never happened. The crew came at the appointed time and cleaned all of our windows. When they finished, they told me that the charge was $500. There was no invoice given and no itemization, which we thought was strange. If they charge so much per window, how did it end up being an even $500? They did not clean all of our window sills and they left a few rags in our bushes in our back yard. Maybe a little lack of attention to detail. Additionally, they left one of the fence gates open in the back yard. I didn't discover this until a day after they left. We have two small dogs who could have easily gotten out of the open gate. Had that happened, Labor Panes would be paying a big price, but thankfully, it didn't happen. Again, they need more attention to small details. But, if we use this service again, I will need to get a definite quote before the job and an invoice following the work. I will also ensure that all of the sills are cleaned and that the gates are closed following their departure. I tried leaving a message for Tyler, the owner, but never received a response. read more

Update to last review.. After I wrote a review on their site (they send you an email requesting it), Liz, their manager, called me, apologized for my inconvenience, and to see how they could help make things better. I explained the situation again, that I was expecting the window washing services to be a part of the quote, and how the patio wasn't totally cleaned (paint wasn't removed). She not only offered the window washing for free, but she also sent me a refund check for 1/2 of the services charged for the patio, which included the driveway and walkway, both of which were done pretty well. I initially setup an appointment for the window washing, but then I cancelled, because I felt the call and the refund was enough. Don't you know Labor Panes reached out to me, to see if there was anything wrong. I told them no, just thought the customer service they provided was enough, however, they insisted. Once the crew was on the way (Brandon again,which was perfect, because as I previously mentioned, he does really good work), they called me to let me know they were on the way, how long before they would arrive,the services they would be providing (great communication this time, which shows they take customer feedback seriously), that there wouldn't be a charge for the services, and that I didn't need to be home, if I had somewhere to go. The windows look nice, however, they looked pretty good already, from the house washing, but the main thing about this experience is Labor Panes' great customer service, hence the updated 5 star review. I will be using them again, and not only will I be telling others to use them, I will also talk about their great customer service, which to me is key to a great business. They left some no pressure quotes n some other services we could benefit from and he prices appeared reasonable. They acted in n a very professional and courteous manner. Responsive, friendly, courteous. Those are the qualities I want from a company who will be working in and around my home. The Go To Crew met those criteria and more. Joe and Max did a great job. They cleaned the inside and outside windows, wiped the sills, cleaned out the gutters (and blew the leaves from the sidewalk and the whole driveway!), and washed the outside of my house.
