Universal Windows Direct of Atlanta - 4 lite sliding glass door in the place of 3 windows

    Universal Windows Direct of Atlanta

We could not be any happier with UWD of Atlanta. We always get 3 quotes for any major renovation…read moreand their quote saved us over 10k from the next closest estimate. Charlie showed us different options of things that we could do to save money without changing the footprint. Eugeniy kept us informed on the timeline as the windows were being made and then as the installation crew were installing. The installation crew were very tidy, professional and had all 32 windows installed in 2 days. Eugeniy stopped by to inspect the work. Completely seamless for us and by far our easiest home renovation project. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct Of Atlanta.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!

Just Doors - Our dedicated installers know doors, carptentry, sealing, and more, but most importantly they are reliable, friendly and background checked.

UPDATE 12/8/25 The technician Titus, not only met my…read moreexpectations, but exceeded it! He was very professional genuinely interested in making sure he did everything he could to repair my steel door. He identified options and pros and cons of each option. He took the time to call me in his off work hours to discuss the problems I was having with my door and asked for pictures to make sure he brought the right equipment to repair the door. I would definitely use them again and if fact I am scheduled to have them fix another part that could not be fixed in the current visit and would be a more involved repair project. I am awaiting an estimate of this repair. I am glad that I gave them another chance to prove their expertise in this ares, because Titus's approach and experience definitely impressed me ! ---/ Update: I have heard from the owner Justin and he assigned someone to be out on this coming Monday to evaluate my problem with my door. Further updates to this review should follow after that service visit. -//// Take note that this is a temporary evaluation of this company until I hear back from Justin the owner. Before November 20 approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago, I requested a person to come out and repair my steel door on an outside storage unit. I specifically said I wanted it repaired and if not repairable, an estimate for replacement. I asked several times if there was a fee or service call for coming out Brie, the representative said there was no service fee and it would be as I understood: Come out look at it. See if it was repairable and if not repairable to give me an estimate for replacement door. I specified several times that it was a steel door and I wanted to repair the steel door. On the day the technician was to come out, he said that he only replaces with fiberglass doors because he prefers the quality over steel doors. He doesn't feel that steel doors were durable. I explained to him how many times I specified I had a steel door and wanted to Repair it and only do a replacement as the last resort. I also reminded him how long I've waited for this appointment and that clarification of my needs should've been done 2 1/2 weeks ago when I requested the appointment. Scott, the technician promptly offered to call the owner Justin. After colleague came back, he said that he did leave a message for Justin and his awaiting for him to call me back. Scott also announced that anyone coming out would be a $400 minimum repair service and replacement of the doors would be starting at $2500. I told him I didn't think it was worth it to have someone come out and put two longer bolts so proper adjustment of the door can be made . I also explained to him that which is my evaluation of what it needed to be repaired. But that is only my evaluation. I told him that that's why I'm hiring door company cause they supposedly are the experts and what is needed to repair it! This review may change depending on if the owner Justin calls me back and how they're going to resolve this miscommunication of what me the Customer needed versus what the company could offer. It was a total waste of time as of now

Ended up only doing the smaller project as we decided that we should hold off on the larger project until we moved as the risk that further damage due to moving was not out of the question. I brought the mirror I needed replaced in the next week and spoke with the same person. I was initially quoted $35 for cutting and production. When I went to actually buy it and have the pro done they charged me $60. Nearly a 50% increase due to "waste". One this was never mentioned. Two he remembered me and both of my projects but couldn't remember quoting me what he quoted me (I have it written down in your hand writing with your card but I had sent thought to bring that with me) they also wanted to charged an additional $35 to do the adhesive for me but I was already annoyed at that point so I declined. I had to ask twice for them to show me the adhesive I should be using (doesn't seem unreasonable considering your doubled you price) Also I'd like to note that the guy I spoke with generally seemed to be nice, but kind of made fun of my being tired and over stressed due to this large scale move and sort of diminished that which was not appreciated. I will say the guy who actually cut the mirror was nice. He removed some bracing pieces and gave me far more than he returned which was nice of him. Maybe it's because it was a very small item so they don't care but if I wasn't moving out of state I would not come here in future. The bate and switch tactic isn't professional and turns me off instantly. I can't imagine spending tons on a custom made door if this is how I felt with a simple mirror cutting.
