Friendly folks and a great selection. They are the only joint in a town of 100k people to stock my brand. Thanks

From the moment I…read morewalked in, the atmosphere was inviting, with great vibes and an excellent selection of music. The service was top-notch, earning a solid 5 stars. I ordered the chicken with spinach cream sauce pizza, accompanied by a medley of vegetables, including broccoli, mushrooms, and sweet red peppers. It was absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of sitting at the bar, where the bartenders, Christian and Elijah, provided attentive and exceptional service. They truly made my dining experience memorable. Chop House has only been open for two weeks, but they are already impressing with their food and service. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious meals.

I was seated in a busy corner area, which was my own fault for not requesting something more private/secluded upfront. It got pretty loud and lacked the privacy I was hoping for. My server was a newer team member, she was genuinely sweet and trying her best, but it was clear she needed more training and familiarity with the menu recommendations. She seemed a bit awkward and unsure, which made the service feel clunky. For food: The Boursin Filet had delicious flavor from the mesquite grill and that cheesy topping, really enjoyable taste. Unfortunately, I ordered it medium-rare and it arrived rare at best (fairly blue in the center). I'm hoping it doesn't cause any issues. The loaded baked potato was just okay ("mid" as the kids say). It needed more time in the oven and wasn't loaded as advertised. The lobster bisque starter and my lager were solid, though. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of potential with its ambiance and steak quality when things are on point. With a little more training for newer staff and better attention to doneness and sides, it could easily be a repeat spot. Three stars for now, I'd give it another try on a slower night with a more experienced server.

They had a band called Bob and the Fog playing. They sounded good. There is room to dance. They host other social events like Bingo, corn hole toss and darts. Parking is ok for persons with disabilities. They also allow outside food but NO DRINKS. I saw some deliveries in the area. They also had a food trailer in the parking lot. That person sold fried fish and chicken with chips it was ok. I think some pizzas would be great. Plenty of beer to choose from their house menu. They have some wine and canned sodas. Prices are fare. Overall had a good time and we would come back.

We have loved their Blood Orange Berliner Weisse for years and have always said we needed to make it to the brewery. Today was the perfect chance. It was a Sunday afternoon, and luckily, they were open. There were just a few people, but as they day progressed, more trickled in. Michelle, the beertender, at the time was great. She suggested all sorts of beers based on my taste and let me sample them all. One suggestion she had was to mix the Mango with the Blood Orange. It was really good. The two that I ended up drinking were the Duck River Dunkel and the ISB English Ale. I also liked that they had pretzels and popcorn as bar snacks. We met some really nice people and talked for a while. It reminded me of the old summer days when everyone would just sit and talk and enjoy life. It sure beat the fast-paced and scheduled life that goes on today.

We checked out Yelp reviews to know what to expect and put the address in maps and drove over. We haven't been downtown in a while on Holmes so we were shocked to see all the new businesses and a new parking garage. The location at 301 East Holmes was easy enough to find and with a parking garage across the street easy to park and walk to. We walked inside to a small cozy room with a colorful menu of 32 beers on tap. There were two customers when we arrived at 3:00. We walked around to see the beers on the shelves and in the cooler. I looked at the menu with the 32 beers and found Ride Share. Yay! It is on tap. We spoke with the owner who said he had the last keg and would sell us 32 ounce crowlers. Hubs placed his order and ordered two glasses for us at the bar. Tuesday is $5 beer all day. We hit the jackpot. When I checked in, YELP gave me a 15% discount on our purchase which was a nice surprise! Thank you to the owner and YELP. If you are in the downtown area and would like a quiet non-smoking place to unwind and enjoy a brew, you should stop by Old Town Beer Exchange and check out the different beers they have on tap and in the bottle.
