This has been going on for around 8 months at this point. Ive pointed out the discrepancy and every time the response is "oh we just haven't had time to change it". After 8 months thats hard to believe. I think they are doing it on purpose. If you look at the prices the lower price is what you see and only if you check your receipt do you realize thats not what they charged you. Ive probably overpaid over 100$ all together before I realized. It's such a simple thing but they can't or won't follow the law/consumer protection act.

These two items were just the beginning of all the overpriced bottles they had. Two, the shelves were completely empty. They had holes all over the shelves and only 1-3 bottles of anything they had. Not to mention, the guy working was talking on his phone while sitting in a chair behind the counter with empty shelves. Three, their selection was very basic and had nothing of appeal.

Many of their bottles weren't labeled, so I had to ask the young girl who came to help me about the their prices. Less than 3 minutes into me asking what cost what, she walks off and starts helping another customer. I waited for a few minutes thinking she was going to come back, but she just went on about her business and left me hanging. So after standing there for another 10 minutes, I realized she or any other employee weren't coming back to further assist me, so I left those cases and walked out. I'm definitely not supporting a business that will just ignore their customers like that.

I thought I was doing the right thing by taking it to the counter. Boy was I wrong! I should have just put it back on the shelf and gone about my business, because the clerk BREE insisted I had to pay for it. She was unpleasant, argumentative and doesn't understand customer service. I asked for the manager. He's not there and not available. I asked for his phone number and she couldn't produce. It's a shame, because this is nice, little small business being blackened by a simple minded clerk. Again, I should have just put it back on the shelf and gone about my business. Sad I won't be able to frequent this small Huntsville business in the future. UPDATE: i am updating my score. I sent a note to the owner via the store web page. He responded in less than 24 hours and agreed to address the issue and offered compensation (although not necessary). Plan on going here again based on the excellent response by the owner!!!

I called Liquor Express to see if they had some and the young lady at the counter said she would contact their distributor to see if any was available. Usually by the time the beer is available here in Huntsville, it's almost through being brewed due to the short 3-4 month brewing time. I left my name and number hoping to hear good news. The next day I was called and told the distributor had a few cases. I quickly responded with "yes, I'll take them and thank you". I hot footed it over to Liquor Express and picked up my Hoptimum. When I said what I was looking for, I was taken straight the absinthe. I don't think i would have found it on my own. This is a pretty small store that doesn't seem to have the largest selection. The absinthe was only available in one size - it will probably last me the rest of my life. This sounds terrible, but I rarely leave the ABC with just what I went in for. This store was acquired by Windmill Beverages several years ago. I liked Great Spirits because…read moreservice was always friendly and helpful, and they gave a 10% discount when you bought a case. I recall you could mix and match your wines in the case and still get the discount. I don't think Windmill offers the same discount, but don't quote me, I've been wrong before. Great Sprits always had Vinho Verde which I love in the hot summer months and the staff would be more than happy to help you to the car with your purchases. There are several coolers with chilled wines and beer selection. This location is "easy in" and "easy out" if you are southbound on Memorial Parkway. I have never had a bad experience at any Windmill store I've been to. This store should be a solid option for your beer/wine/liquor needs. I recommend you ignore the Yelp classification of this being a party planning store, or a gift shop/wedding gift shop. The only gift related items I saw here were wine gift bags.
