No wine tastings or painting classes or fun things like that, that I could see advertised anyway. No wine totes, wine themed anything...So, like I said, if you are shopping for wine, especially a specific one, you should call first to see if they have it. The staff are friendly and it has never been busy when I've been there. Again, it fills a niche and I'm glad FS is close by!

Our table was ready when we walked in the door. Our waitress, Linze R., was phenomenal. She described the chicken parm well enough we decided to order it- a dish we split. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. A coke and I had a white sangria. The food was out in probably less than 15 minutes (appetizer first of course). The sangria was so good I finished it and slurped the bottom of the cup. The fried green tomatoes, a dish we've had every time we ever visited, were fabulous. The andouille sausage remoulade served with it is tangy, creamy and just slightly spicy. Epic. But the chicken Parmesan... that humble dish of which I had no expectations would be dynamic... that was the BEST chicken Parmesan I've ever had, head and shoulders above any Italian restaurant in the city. The tomato sauce was bright and tangy. The fried chicken was ... divine. To wrap it up, Linze was amazing. I looked at the menu with the 32 beers and found Ride Share. Yay! It is on tap. We spoke with the owner who said he had the last keg and would sell us 32 ounce crowlers. Hubs placed his order and ordered two glasses for us at the bar. Tuesday is $5 beer all day. We hit the jackpot. When I checked in, YELP gave me a 15% discount on our purchase which was a nice surprise! Thank you to the owner and YELP.
