At 9:15 I was taken to an exam room and told Dr. Canupp would be in shortly. That's where I was left until I got up at 9:55 and left. I stopped by the desk and said I was leaving and why. I was given no explanation just a one word "sorry" from an attendant who seemed more annoyed that I broke up their group chat, This was completely disrespectful of me and my time. They don't deserve my business, or yours.

We purchased glasses and contacts from this office even though they were overpriced compared to online sources. My nine year old son wanted to try contacts since he is beginning to play sports and wanted to try an alternative to glasses, so on our last visit we asked if we could sample some disposable lenses to see if that might work for him. After being treating as a nuisance once again by Marcie, we had an exam with Dr. Robinson. I told her our wishes and for some reason she acted more irritated with every question we asked and said he may be too young to try contacts because the normal age is 12-13. When I asked if it was an option she said it was, but seemed to question again: "Why?" For sports. "Does he practice adequate hygiene to have contacts?" We were asking for disposable so there was no cleaning involved, and my son is meticulous about his personal cleanliness. "Other kids at school are dirty" We homeschool. "Why did we not want UV protection?" I personally had a reaction to UV coating in contacts and the option was available so MAY WE TRY IT PLEASE? The interrogation came to the point of me asking , "Is there a reason this request is so difficult today?" In which she responded to my son "I am ultimately liable for your eye health - you don't want to lose your eye, do you?" Terrified, he went into another room to learn how to insert his contacts. The employee had him wash his hands three times. "Oops, you touched your hair, nope, you touched your face..." to the point where he was now in tears and wanted to forget the whole thing. I have worn contacts for 35 years with no issues and have never experienced this type of treatment from any office or optician. The assumed positive out of this experience was that we had paid for our son's contact prescription. After requesting this from this office, we were told there is no prescription for him even though we paid specifically for a contact exam. I am disappointed and disgusted with the lack of professionalism of your office. I would like to receive what we paid for in good faith or refunded our money.

Dr Shah found other issues that require other surgery to correct long existing problems. He has guided me through the process. Jenifer and Josie took great care on my surgery experience and it went flawlessly and fast. Erica is the person I have dealt with on my follow up visits and is very kind and knowledgeable. They are very friendly but VERY slow. They have no organization when it comes to patient charts. I…read morehad to see a specialist and the girl called and made an appointment for the wrong patient because there were multiple charts stacked on her desk. Plus if you have insurance and try to check to see if your glasses are in they won't even check on them unless it has been over 4 weeks. My glasses just came in this week and my appointment was 8 weeks ago. At 6 weeks they still weren't in and when I called I had to hold almost 10 minutes waiting on hold before I could even talk to anyone. Come to find out there was a problem at the lab. On Thursday's there is no doctor so no one can check on glasses that day either. So why do they answer the phone? Now that they are in I can only pick them up from 10-1 and 2-4, but not on Thursdays, or Sundays. But the people themselves speak friendly. I just think it is very mismanaged and unorganized.

Good doctors, but suspect accounting practices The location…read morehas you pay your portion during the office visit which is pretty common. When we received our insurance EOB it indicated what was covered and showed that we had actually slightly over paid based on their estimate. When the accounting office was contacted they came up with 2 additional numbers which never matched what was submitted to our insurance. After weeks of back and forth requesting my refund for overpayment the business office simply stops responding. Seems to be very intentional.
