Me enjoying my wine against a backdrop of wine barrels and other people hanging out

If you want a vibey spot to get together with friends and drink great wine, this is it. I've been here once before and came today for an impromptu Sunday date. We lucked out with a live band and glasses of most bottles. We had the Anderson Valley Sparkling Pinot Noir, which was a treat. I also had a glass of the '19 Anderson Valley Chardonnay, which is freakin' delicious. We were being wine nerds and said we got a nose of manure--but like George Castanza says, the best kind ("ma" + "newer," whats not to love???). I really "stepped in it" by sharing our tasting notes with the Dave, the owner, but regardless, this wine is DELICIOUS. They also had live music (The Charles Wheal band) and they brought a wonderful energy to the space. Add the wine barrels, a wall of south facing windows for beautiful sunlight, and Dave's fun hospitality, and we couldn't ask for more. Best spontaneous Berkeley Sunday in a long time!! We're already planning our engagement party here and will definitely be back.

Tasty, unique wines and a cute space! The winemaker was pouring for us and was also very friendly and pleasant. We'll definitely be back! I recommend popping in and doing a tasting if you're in the area.

This is the best urban winery in the country! Dave rocks this place. The wine is literally made by one guy with one particular vision of wine and it is so "Bay area"! We love it. We will remain members forever

What a great unexpected location. They have semi-rustic event space, some goats, corn husk spots, tables with covering and a beautiful covered barn area. Also a separate area to showcase and serve their different offerings. Wines (red & white)...I had the cab and thought it was a decent full flavor. They also have honey, fresh eggs, a few veggies & olive oil. I think the sun had me off my game because I left without trying the olive oil (usually my favorite)! Did purchase the honey and it's a nice smooth flavor. Last but not last was the WONDERFUL house manager. I didn't get her name, she was running around helping everyone, she is a warm, nurturing professional that felt like a breath of fresh air. She was juggling task for sure, but the patrons loved her it had a family atmosphere. I can't wait to meander in the hills again and visit this farm another day in the future. Great idea.. solid event space. Thank you, Sharine
