How has this place gotten such bad reviews?!!!! We have tried every Chinese restaurant in the area, and this by far is the best!!! Maybe because it's actually ran by Asians, and they understand what you expect when ordering Chinese food, unlike most the other "Asian restaurants" here that have items like pizza jello on their buffet. No this is not a buffet, but it's seriously the best looking, and tasting Chinese food we have had, and definitely will continue to come here from now on. The staff is very friendly and accommodating; definitely a mom & pop place SO SUPPORT IT!! The inside is a bit on the smaller side, so I wouldn't bring a really large party. Anything more than 8 people would be pushing it. It's pretty basic inside with pictures of Chinese culture and people on the walls; with simple table covers. The food on the other hand makes up for the humble environment. If you want some of the best Chinese food around head here first. Also these owners have just taken over less than 3 years ago, so let's give them the opportunity to change your mind from previous owners. read more

I placed my order over the phone, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They informed me that my order would be ready in twenty minutes. I arrived right on time, and my order was handed to me immediately. The egg drop soup was wonderful, and my wife enjoyed the egg roll. We both really liked the fried dumplings. My wife had the Chicken Lo Mein, which was enough to feed two people, and she said it was delightful. Wind Taste Russellville Arkansas My favorite Buffet In Russellville, Mulans, was closed on Wednesdays. My search turned up Wind Taste. Customer Service was great but my food was not up to par. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp w/Cashews and Egg Drop Soup . The egg drop soup was way too thick and lacked flavor. The Jumbo Shrimp were VERY tough and the Cashews were like mush, not crunchy. The sauce with the Shrimp Cashews was so overpowering with a taste I could NOT identify and was not pleasing to the tongue, what so ever. Worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Fried rice was so terrible And tasted like it was frozen and made in a microwave. I ordered beef and broccoli and had more broccoli than beef and the taste was terrible. My dad ordered Mongolian beef and was served a plate of onions and 5 little meat pieces and he disliked it so much he didn't eat it. My brother ordered general Tso's chicken and it tasted like fish and was extremely bland. Sweet tea tasted extremely watered down and was absolutely foul. Service was also extremely terrible. Went there for linch today. I ordered orange chicken, and my friend ordered beef mein fun. The food was amazing to say the least. Loved the orange chicken a lot. It was a Sunday, so the restaurant was a little busy, so I didn't mind the waiters being a little discourteous, however it was a great experience overall. The prices are also wuite fair. Make sure you have plenty of time and you check to make sure your order is right before you pick up from here. When I called in an order, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there 15 minutes later, and waited over half an hour from that point for my order. Then I got home with my order - sesame chicken and Kung pao chicken - to find that instead of Kung pao chicken, I was given beef and broccoli. I get the same dish every time I eat here, General Tsos chicken with fried rice, but what a tasty dish it is! The food is always prepared super hot and fresh, so you will have to wait about 15-20 Minutes on your order. But the sauce on the General tsos chicken is to die for. If you utilize the drive thru service, please call the order in ahead of time. The wait can be 20-30 minutes for drive thru orders, but like I said, they are prepared on the spot. What a shame this is the only Asian restaurant with a drive thru option in town. Employees are RUDE! The Asian lady is extremely rude and even the younger girls are rude. They have no sense of customer service. Even worse they seem to have missed the boat on common politeness and curtesy. They need to tell the people who order food at the drive thru to go park somewhere and let the people who have called their orders in ahead of time roll through and pick up their food. I am not one to complain usually about a place or even bother to take time out of my day to do so. However, this business has the rudest "white people" I've ever met. I emphasize white people because it is an Asian restaurant and the Asian people are okay. They get orders right and they don't mess around. Everytime we go and it's the white manager & workers everything is always wrong. We called today to let them know they had bones in their "boneless" chicken which had cut my mouth and that they gave us the wrong order. We were given an excuse that the cook was filling to go orders first and the tables served before us were served food the cook over prepared in their priority to go orders. Okay, this used to be my go to Chinese restaurant in Russellville. I've been twice in the past few months. I'm so disappointed. They have started using that disgusting processed chicken and beef. The last time I was there I asked and they told me that nothing had changed. Got home after paying almost $30 for our 2 meals, only to throw it out because of the plastic beef and chicken. I was so upset that I called about it and complained. Told them I had been going there for years and how disappointed I was. This is the first time I've been back since. I asked if they had gone back to real beef or were they using processed. They told me the truth, beef still processed, so I ordered cashew chicken. Yay! It wasn't plastic. So I ordered my husband a chicken broccoli, brought it home and, by gosh, it was processed! I couldn't believe, since I had made it a point to ask. $29 meal. My review will be a bit one dimensional, as I order the same thing almost every time I frequent this place. It is mainly a drive-through, but there are tables inside to sit down. I always order the Dragon & Phoenix. It is like an orange chicken type dish with spicy shrimp on the side. The dish comes with a box of white rice stuffed to the gills. You can request fried rice for like a dollar more. The crab rangoons are quite good, although I have never been to a Chinese restaurant where there was actually crab in the "crab" rangoons. The food is cooked when you order it and it tastes much more "authentic" to me. Their egg rolls are run of the mill, but still better than the buffets here in town. Don't get me wrong, Mulan's is tasty, but pricey for the buffet. I usually spend 8 bucks (Dragon & Phoenix) and 2.50 for some crab rangoons and it is enough food to feed me, my wife and our step-son (who is a bottom-less pit).The food is fresh and prepared well. I think they have $4.99 lunch specials now that include Beef and Broccoli, which I enjoy as well. I've never had a bad meal here, ever! read more
