I have been a Wind customer for seven months. Not only is the service poor, but customer service is non-existent! I have had two 15€ payments that were not credited to my account in spite of the fact that I received a confirmation email from them that they received the payment. I have tried for two months to get a hold of customer service, but their representatives are always busy and the automated line hangs up on you. Don't even think of them for service. read more

My experience is very similar to the negative review of the previous poster. I'm using a prepaid SIM card with Wind. Data and phone. I've had this SIM card for 2.5 months now. So what is wrong? 1. Wind gobbles up your balance (your money) with zero accountability. You put in money (more on that later) and your balance goes down. There is no way to know why the balance goes down. You can access your balance via your phone, or via the website, but that's it. No list of the charges and deductions. And good luck trying to get someone at a Wind store to give you a listing of the fees and charges that brought your balance down. 2. Adding funds to your Wind balance is a pain. None of our US credit cards work on the Wind website. Some Wind stores only accept cash to recharge. 3. The website is terrible. Disorganized. Pages that don't load. Mostly advertisements to get you to purchase more "services". And they only provide your balance, not a list of charges and deductions. And it doesn't have to be this bad. In New Zealand I had a SIM card from "spark". They provided a nice app that listed your balance, calls and minutes and mB used, payment history, deduction history. Crystal clear where you money is going. Similarly, the accounting on for the bike sharing system in Torino - also fantastic. Great app with very clear information about your balance, bikes rented and so on. But with Wind, it's a secret. read more

Just avoid this company. Run away. i paid 25 euro total (15 for sim, 10 for 'tourist pass', which is NOT your balance btw), had to go back to the store to activate my internet, no one explained that you need to type in network settings yourself (also no info as to what those settings are). Also pricing is unclear, I was charged for some 'service' calls to the local airport that apparently weren't included in the 100 minutes I paid for with my 'tourist pass'. The calls took my entire balance, so the sim card stopped working entirely. Their customer service is laughably bad. I called serveral times, was given different info from different people, was hung up on twice, blamed, told there was nothing they can do and finally that i need to pay more to top up my balance -__- read more
