Planning a trip abroad seem to take more time than say, planning my retirement. While most research of where to stay, eat, what to do has been done by me, the bf had the most important assignment of all: figuring out how I can check in on Yelp while in Italy.
Molto importante, a mio parere! ;-)
We were ready with an unlocked iphone, printed out a table comparing the different phone companies and their rates (wind, vodafone, tim, tre, etc) He decided that wind would be our best option, the price is €9 for 1 GB good for a month plus card costs with a €10 min top up. You'll save hundreds of dollars this way (use that money for the Italian leather shoes you want!) just bring your passport and in some cases, you'll need a "codice fiscale" which we had on hand, but didn't need. It's better to be prepared and you can generate one over here:

We came right when the store opened at 10am and there was only one guy manning the place. He wasn't the most friendliest, but we were out of there in 10 mins.
