I shop at WinCo because they have the most reasonable prices in the Tri-Cities. Last night, I stopped by the Leonardi's Pizza at the WinCo in Richland. My husband doesn't like red sauce, and none of their pre-made, take-n-bake pizza's have the alfredo sauce, Plus, he doesn't like veggies (and he's allergic to onions) so I have to order it specially made. I ordered a large Garlic gourmet pizza which came with chicken and three different veggies, at a cost of $13.98. I told the young girl at the counter that I just wanted the chicken on it and asked for regular bacon to be put on it. She said, "Sure. But, since you're just getting two toppings, I'm going to just charge you $9.98." I thought that was so nice. I have gotten this same type pizza many times at the Kennewick store and they always charged me full price AND they've never offered to bake it for me, either. I didn't even know that was an option until this girl asked me. Guess I'll be making my pizza orders at the Richland store from now on.
As for WinCo not accepting credit cards, I was told by a manager at the Kennewick store one time that it keeps the cost of the groceries down and, I for one, am all for that. So, if you need to use your credit card to get groceries, you can use their in store ATM. read more
