Overpriced!!! I visited this car wash on April 5th and specifically asked an employee about pricing before starting. I was told it would be no more than $7 for a 15-minute wash using a credit card. Based on that information, I proceeded. I only noticed today that I was actually charged $15, which is more than double what I was quoted. This feels misleading and unacceptable--especially since there was no clear pricing displayed. I called and spoke with a manager, and instead of resolving the issue, I was told to dispute the charge with my credit card company. That response alone shows a lack of accountability. I will be disputing the charge and filing a complaint with the BBB if this is not resolved. At a minimum, pricing should be clearly posted so customers know exactly what they're being charged. read more

Today was the 2nd time using Winchester Auto Spa. This time was for my daughter's 2010 Actura TSX that was left to her by her grandmother. The car unfortunately has been sitting outside with very little care. The interior was filthy and the engine was extremely dirty. When I arrived back I was totally shocked. The interior looked like a brand new car and the job that they did on the engine compartment was truly shocking. They were even able to bing my the headlights back to life. I was there last night vacuuming my car and used the new card reader instead of using cash or coins. This morning I looked at my bank statement and was charged $10.00 for the vacuum. I come here a lot when it's time to self-wash the vehicles. Winchester Auto Spa Water Wash Garages are always kept clean and the trash bins are put away regularly. The foam brush is often filled with bubble soap every time I wash the cars. The spa is also equipped with heavy-duty aluminum hangers for the floor mats and a laminated poster outlining the description of each dial function; both are affixed to the concrete wall. The price is way affordable compared to opting for an auto wash at most gas stations. You get more of the buck and the car can look a lot cleaner when performing the self-wash. I may not be the best person to review this place since i have only gotten screwed by this place 35-40 times. It has the potential to be an average car wash, ya know, if there was ever any soap. But nope, water only. So irritating. They spring for the loudspeaker that announces every time you change modes like "HIGH PRESSURE SOAP" and "FOAM BRUSH". I recommend they reprogram that thing to announce something useful like, "HEY TIGHTWAD. FILL UP THE SOAP BEFORE YOU GO HOME" or "WELCOME TO WINCHESTER GARDEN HOSE. DON'T DEPOSIT YOUR MONEY. Allow me to set the scene... Long distance highway driving means the lives of poor bugs are splattered all over the front end and windshield of my vehicle. There are many spaces, cracks and crevices on the grill that create a challenge for any type of automatic machine to get clean. Learned this the hard way by wasting money. Even the last couple places I went to where humans were doing the drying and the final detailing proved to be unsuccessful. Pointing out all that was missed didn't matter, they STILL would not completely clean the bugs off, nor dry parts well enough to keep water from spraying all over the freshly cleaned surfaces of the car once I drove off. I was looking for a place that would clean my vehicle without overcharging for unnecessary things. Just a good ole hand washing with care. Enter Winchester Auto Spa. I called and spoke with Phil about pricing and determined what I needed was the Ultra Wash. And there would be an additional fee between $5-$20 depending on how many bugs which seemed fair to me. He got off the phone and checked to see what the availability was since it was already mid afternoon. A few moments later I had a text with their price list letting me know I could come in at that moment. Fantastic. Upon arrival Gael greeted me with a smile and confirmed what I wanted to get done. Very nice guy who I could tell was all about ensuring great customer service. I paid and he had me pull into the bay so he could get started. He pointed out some benches where I could wait. I'll admit I was slightly put off that I had to wait outside in the heat, but since the area was shaded and breezy it turned out to be just fine. And Gael was done in under an hour so the Vitamin D boost was quick. When I say he was done, I mean completely done!! He had meticulously cleaned and dryed every spot, crack and crevice of my vehicle. I was elated that I didn't have to go behind him pointing out a bunch of things things that were missed. I saw only 2. Later I realized there was still some minor spots on the windshield but that was an easy fix. I wish I had taken a before pic to show just how many bugs lost their lives. And what a great going home service Gael provided for them, lol. Needless to say, I'll be back and recommending this place to family for sure! read more

For a DIY it is a great place. The only downside was that I got so involved in cleaning my transit van that I didn't pay attention to how much I was spending by renewing the timer but Boy Howdie! It was so clean-and they have a Dry function that works like a vacuum in reverse and I focused on the windows-they were gorgeous. But it ain't cheap. read more

I used to spend over $400 to get my SUV detailed, and was very disappointed in the end result of my last detail, the man traveled to me and left a bunch of trash in my yard, used my water, missed a lot of spots, and took over 5 hours. Needing a detail again, I had to find another place and saw the reviews from here and booked an appointment with Sergio through Phil who was very helpful. When I met Sergio, he was very nice. Mind you I came with my car a mess, he offered to help take all the trash out, asked if I needed bags or anything, but I had bags with me and I was embarrassed and wouldn't let him help with the trash. He said it would take about 2 hours and a half. He was actually done quicker. I'm in love with my SUV, Sergio managed to clean everything, even spots the other detailer missed. The location of the place is actually pretty nice too, I had my son with me and we walked about 8 minutes up the road to Panda Express and Baskin Robbins while we waited. Both of our cars were very dirty inside and out. The inside of both hadn't seen a good cleaning in over 10 years - coincidentally our kid's age. One had deeply embedded layers of dirt and beach sand on the flooring and trunk pads. The other had the same but with the addition of coffee staining the fabric passenger seat. Both had spills and stains over the center console. Our cars were gross. So, yes, I could have gone to a drive through and gotten a cheaper clean - or done it myself. But for 10 years of accumulated gunk, I felt Winchester Auto Spa's detailing service was really worth it for the end result. I had the cars cleaned months apart. The first was done the end of last year by Gael (I think his name was). He did a really excellent job. The second car was worked on this year by Sergio. He was really detailed - every little thing cleaned out with a mini painter's brush (I mean, I imagine. Some spots he cleaned out were tiny). Sergio was the one who got out the coffee stains from the car seat. But Gael also did a great job on our other car and he got out sand and dirt that was cemented into carpet. Both detailers were arranged by Jodan who seems like a good, practical guy. Basically I'm saying - my two experiences are that these guys are all hard workers and pay attention to detail. He also allowed me to make a same day appointment, which was very helpful. Sergio was so nice and did SUCH a great job once I got there. The process was efficient, and because I made an appointment, he had my car ready (inside and outside clean) in an hour. It made it VERY convenient because I dropped by during my lunch hour. This is the first time my car has looked so good - the inside is shiny, smells fantastic, and the outside looks great.
