My family & I stopped in this place yesterday for lunch. My youngest daughter wanted chow mein from Panda Express next door so I thought it would be fine to grab the chow mein & bring it back into Win Wings with the rest of the food that was ordered ($30 worth). While we were waiting, the guy at the counter called our number & told us that the manager said we had to take our food and leave since we had the Panda Express. Mind you, we had one white container of food. It wasn't like we laid out an entire spread of Panda Express in their establishment. The manager then came out & told us that it was their policy & said we could sit at a table outside their doors. Multiple customers expressed how rude it was for him to escort us out after we ordered more than enough food from them. We collected all our shopping bags & moved outside. The wings didn't taste fresh and just lacked the finger licking good flavor. The chicken strips were dainty and over cooked and just didn't taste right. I think they were reheated. They were purchased for my son who loves chicken strips and he only ate one and didn't finish the rest. The burgers were cooked well, but also tasted reheated or just off. Chicken wings restaurant is not usually a place I choose to eat dinner at but with a patio overlooking the beautiful snow capped San Gabriel Mountains I couldn't resist. I ordered the 10 piece meal with my favorite flavor Parmesan Cheese Wings and the other half I took the young man's at the register advice of getting his favorite the Lemon Pepper Wings. I don't know if it's normal to wait 25 minutes for wings to arrive when there was little traffic in the restaurant but sitting there listening to some bland county music really set the mood for disappointment. Once I received the wings I noticed how small and meatless they were and that there really set the mood for disappointment. The Parmesan Cheese Wings seemed to be extremely overcooked being a little too crispy on the ends, while the Lemon pepper wings though tasty didn't have enough flavor to them. The fries which is the least of things I would evaluate any restaurant on where supposed to be seasoned. The only reason I found out that they were supposed to be seasoned was because I saw a speck of red seasoning on them. The truth is didn't taste like anything but fries and the seasoning was not a factor on the flavor of them. I guess this is decent Mall food and better than a lot of the food being sold in the mall but again what I saw in the pictures for their menu did not look like what I received when I ordered. The location and the view gets an immediate five stars for me, the customer service was just okay it seemed like there was only two or three kids working there at the time so I'll be generous and give them four stars, the music really dampens the moment with some bland country music one star for that, and the chicken wings they weren't spectacular they were just average so I'll give them two stars for it overall it's an average 3 star restaurant at best. read more
