She started to soak my foot in warm water while I was getting massaged on the massage chair. Ten minutes later she began to start the pedicure. My nail technician name was Christine and she was very friendly and wanted me to have the best experience. She was working on my feet with care and not in a rush. She was making sure it was done right. Christine was making sure my nails were in good condition and making my feet smooth. Overall my feet was smooth like a babys bottom! I walked-in and there was only Natalie working. She told me it was a 30 min wait and to select my color. I decided on an off-white since it's Super Bowl Sunday. I gave her the colors and headed out to grab food. I mean you have 10 choices within walking distance easy to find something to do for 30mins. I got back and she was ready for me. I had to get the gel removed for my pedi. It didn't cake her long to do my feet and 35 mins later they looked great. I waited for them to dry and paid. I've come here a few times and I tried something different this time around and I really dont like it. I told the lady I wanted them pretty short and she told me they would file down a lot but they in fact did not file down as much as I was she was making it sound. Darn it, when we flew into Vegas a few trips ago, we were looking forward to getting pedicures at this spa near the UNLV campus. I booked an appointment for the first thing the next morning. When we arrived, the salon was closed and we waited for a few minutes trying to figure out what happened. We later got called that evening and were told that there was a family emergency. So I rescheduled for the next available morning. The service wasn't as great as the first time and the lady that was giving me my pedi didn't talk much. Then roughly handled my hands and when I politely asked her to ease up because she was stabbing me with her long sharp nails (had no gloves on), she LAUGHED and said yea I cut you a bit. Great session and friendly staff! I came in on Sunday and got tips and a pedicure. It took about 90 minutes which wasn't bad as most if it was spent soaking my feet in the massage chair. The lady next to me didn't like her nail color and they changed it at no charge. This was my first time getting tips but I think they look very good. I'll see how long they last. The service was wonderful but it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Nothing to make you say eeew but the floor needed some attention. I also liked that they weren't pushy. Some places make me feel rushed or try to force me in to getting services I don't want. I spent 20 on the pedicure and 25 for my nails. Will definitely go again. read more

Save your money and go somewhere the work is Quality. This was my second time here thinking after they change management the work would be better. I was sadly disappointed and ripped off. After calling asking what full set for gel manicure and pedicure was told 70$. They charged me 120$ after the service.. I had to ask them to do little things such as clean up the nail Beds, trim my nails, the little things.. Thinking they would already know the drill. Apparently the only way a woman should ever get a bikini wax is while drunk. Your senses are deadened, and it is even a bit fun since inebriation makes you think weird and funny thoughts. "She is putting wax WHERE?!" Came here just before closing and called before just to make sure they would stay open, which thankfully they did for me. I was the only customer there and everything was very quick. The woman who does all the aesthetic services is totally awesome, discreet, and tries to make everything as painless as possible. While getting said bikini wax she even asked me how my pain tolerance was. Little did she know that having half a pitcher of sangria at Firefly makes the tolerance level a LOT better. It is always weird showing your lady bits to a stranger but she acts like she has seen it all and she is extremely professional. The regular bikini wax is $30 without tip and she did a fantastic job, and I am very impressed that they stayed open a little later to make sure I was taken care of. This is the only place in Vegas to stay loyal to, this spa is terrific and very decently priced. read more

This review is for pedicures only... I've been here 4 or 5 times to get a "spa" pedicure. This service runs $20, and I guess you get what you pay for... I've had better times, and worse, but I think I may be ready to leave Eva behind and treat myself to an upgrade. Pros: They're cheap, I've never had to wait (always walk-in), the polish job is usually awesome and lasts up to 3 or 4 weeks, people don't try and make conversation. Cons: they don't pamper much, the leg massage is more painful than relaxing, the place often has a very strong chemical smell, massage chairs are old and don't work so great, my troll feet return after just a few hours. The old place I went (granted, in a small college town) was $17 for at least 30 min of pampering, and they would leave your feet feeling like unicorn eyelashes (aka VERY SOFT). Here they just don't do enough work filing and scrubbing on my paws to make much difference. Bottom line - if you need a quick polish job they will have your toes looking shiny for weeks, but it's not the full service pedicure it claims to be. read more

I've done my nails at multiple places but I hate to say that this place is the worse one I've gone to. The lady unevenly coated my nails. A few hours after I got them done, my nail chipped off because she filed that nail thin. 3 days later and I'm disappointed again because the gel chipped off another nail! Terrible service no one would communicate. I sat there for an hour with my feet in the water waiting for a pedicure. No one came over to tell me if it would be 5 more minutes10 minutes 45 minutes I was really annoyed. They had one lady working on my sister's pedicure for half an hour before I gave up because no one was helping me. I just think if they would have communicated how long I would have had to wait it wouldn't have been as bad. Also super slow even after we explained we were in a hurry ( i had already been sitting there for an hour now) they did not move any faster to finish my sister's feet and were unapologetic no one tried to make sure that we left satisfied at all its pretty much like they didn't care. I definitely do not recommend it unless you have 3 to 4 hours to spare for a manicure and or pedicure. And just for reference it was not busy. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done here for three years or so. I live all the way in Summerlin but I'll make the drive every time because my eyebrows are always perfect afterwards! I've gotten a pedicure two or three times and it wasn't remarkable but not at all bad. I can't say I agree with any of these bad reviews whatsoever. read more

I'm so sorry to see the poor reviews -- I've been coming here since 2009 and have never received anything but the best treatment, and they do beautiful work. I was just there today, had gel mani-pedi with paraffin treatment. Heaven! I am in art and furniture restoration, and I don't take great care of my hands, even with all the chemicals I have to use. They take my hands from beat up ragged and snaggy to smooth and beautiful. The new chairs are lovely and work great! The owner and helpers are very nice -- heavy accent, but patience on both sides helps greatly. I love that they don't make small talk, I love to enjoy the pampering. I drive in from Henderson (used to live closer to the college) regularly, and I've always been glad I did! read more

I've gone to Eva Nails & Spa for the last month or so to get my nails filled. It's a nice little place. They offered me water every time I'm there. As for my nails, they always come out looking great. I get the white tips with pink polish on top. I can usually go about 2 1/2-3 weeks between fills. They know exactly what I want and how I like my nails. I do get annoyed that one of the nail tech's son (about 1-2years old) runs around the shop. He snuck up and took off with my phone one day and then screamed when they took it away. Another time he tried to get it but I was able to get to it before him. It's a little annoying they have him running around when customers are there. He plays with the stuff on the other tables and gets into things. I think they should either not bring him, or hire a sitter. read more

My sister and I went on a Friday night almost at closing time, we sat there for about 5 minutes and they began to do our nails. We both got a full set, mines were regular square shape and she got the almond nails. I have gotten my nails done several times and they have never hurt, but the guy that was doing them filed the side of my nails very hard, felt like he was angry or something. He didn't make much conversation either, he switched me off with the other lady that was there and she filed them even more. I have been to the place 4 times and there is one very timid woman who is super great, she is quick but also pays great attention to detail and always did my nails and toes perfectly. But one day I walked in and she was helping someone else so the guy did my nails and he didn't even clean under the nail or take care of my cuticles, not only that but it BURNED when he painted my nails with the gel. Then another lady did my toes and also didn't pay very close attention and just rushed through. They are nice so I never said anything but I was so unhappy that I didn't go back for a month and then when I did I asked for the names of the employees and mentioned that there is a woman who had done my nails before who I really liked and wanted to make an appointment for but he wouldn't tell me so I just left and tried back another day. OK - I have gone on and off to the salon for about 3 years and my last visit to say the least will be my LAST. I got a mani/pedi and although the pedi was fine. My manicure experience and the end result was NOT. I was told before my nails were ready that they were dry and they were not - so she ruined the nail and had to re do it again. Great another 15 min added! After that (another girl and) I was prompt shooed out of the chair again but this time to the UV light bench, so she could take on someone else (granted there were 2 available stations). I stayed for a bit and we talked about how much we hated going there because of this scenario. The nail mentioned above was STILL not dry from the gobs of polished it had endured and it got ruined on the drive back. Not even a week later Part of my nail has broken off (and there already short). It hurts so bad and it is still ripping off... Probably from the UV light. STAY AWAY!!! I've only received a handful of mani/pedis in my life, but this was by far the worst. The guy was more interested in the basketball game than in doing my nails. He was watching TV while he was scrubbing my feet and scraped both of my legs with the scrubber (I actually have scrape marks on both legs); he was sloppy with the polish; and just generally rough and inattentive. Then, I asked for a "man's" manicure and he cut my nails square and proceeded to practically burn through my nails with the Dremel. What a nightmare!!! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Very nice staff, reasonable prices, and they do great work. I come here often since it's right across form UNLV. My feet get dry and cracked, but after they're done with a pedicure, they're soft and smooth and the nailpolish lasts for at least a month. They give great leg massages. They do a great job shaping and painting acrylics that last for more than a month. I'm always really happy with their work. read more

I am so disappointed with this place. I went in for a gel manicure and wanted a design on my ring fingers. When I showed him the colors I wanted and he told me that it was an ugly combination. Rude!! As they did our nails, people tried to come in and he rudely said "no! I'm busy!" Whenever someone came in. Then they rushed through our nails and our design is moving under the gel. My design is now ruined and I only got it done an hour ago. I spent good money on these nails and now I have to go somewhere else and pay again to get them fixed. Just ok. Not great, not terrible. I did get a few compliments when I got my nails done here, but they didn't give me exactly what I wanted. I told the guy eighteen times that I wanted medium pink, and he just kept saying, "ok, light." I guess he decided I was better suited for light pink. Not a big deal. I also had a few spots where the white bled into the pink, which kinda sucks. Not the worse set I've ever had, but I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. read more

This was my first time getting my nails done. What a great experience! My friend and daughter and I all wanted something done but had trouble finding a place that stayed open past 7. We called Eva and the nice gentleman said he'd stay open past closing time to take care of us. Great price too, I got a full acrylic gel set plus the mani/pedi for my daughter for the price of just my set at the previous place we checked out. UPDATED today 12/1/14, I went back today and had another quick experience. The lady today was even more thorough than the others and I will go back again. A nice change, however, is that the place has a brand new floor, and paint in places. That seemed to be a complaint from some other reviews. read more
