She explained she already had another appointment and would place me with someone else, which I completely understood since it was a last-minute request. She seemed bothered by the question and explained it was because I wanted a certain shape. I said, "Oh okay, I understand." I then asked the difference between two services because they sounded very similar on the menu. She explained it, but then added, "That one is more expensive." I understand this is a high-end salon, and maybe these kinds of charges or questions are normal for their regular clientele, but personally it came across a bit judgmental and uncomfortable.
