Though this older women (not sure if I have her name right so I won't be using it) refuses to assist because she only will look for large items she has stated that if they spent the day looking for items customers call about they'll be looking all day I asked her how many calls she got and she said "4". Unfortunately if it is your entire job to assist customers but you refuse to do so even if it is a high ticket or collectible item that other staff members have been able to assist and even encourage a call back for - then you should probably be learning from the leads. Front lead and the kitchen department lead have been a joy to speak to unfortunately one staff member has ruined an entire experience - fortunately I did call corporate to launch a complaint - this is the second time I've called first time was to ensure that what I was being told was correct that I can call to ask for specific items on the floor. They've since created a floor-model area where they have majorly discounted items you can take home right there. Kathy really went way out of her way to find two of the Diablo Rockers for my mother and get them to the store so we could pick them up ourselves, keeping me updated by email along the way. We ended up purchasing an entire outdoor set for my mom and brother's new house including a patio table, chair set, and umbrella and base, much of which was deeply discounted at the floor model price. The team also let us hold some things in the back so we could come back for items that didn't fit in my car on the first trip. Said carpet has held up incredibly well through daily wear and tear, even with a young puppy and all the mishaps that come with that. Now that our pup is finally about 99.9% potty trained, we decided it was time to have the carpet cleaned. Refined Carpets were punctual, always showed up, and always cleaned up, leaving the job site as clean as they got it. Since we had to move out of our 2nd floor and lived in our garage for a bit, they were very understanding and moved efficiently and gave us access when they could. We also used Refined for our baseboards, and they did an incredible job. Since the flooring was finished, we have additionally purchased rugs from them (up to three now) and were equally impressed with their continued customer service. These people are it ~ no need to go to anyone else!
