I added dirt against the foundation, had gutters installed, but nothing helped. Water kept coming up from the floor. Had the laminate floor pulled looking for foundation cracks, but it was solid. Remembered reading that flashing around roof vents could leak. Found Rainwater Restoration and Waterproofing during a search, and called immediately. Brad came out that afternoon and determined the deteriorating chimney was directly over the leaks. He sealed all the chimney joints and resealed all 10 roof vents. Finally, an answer, and a solution to what was causing the leak. Thank you, Brad, for excellent work at a very reasonable price.

Recently I had several fencing companies come out and give me a bid for fences for my house plus…read moretwo of my neighbors. We decided to split the costs on our adjoining fences. Brandon at Kyle fencing was the ONLY one of all the fencing companies who said he used wood screws instead of nail guns. At our last house we had a fence company come in and used nail guns and I swore never again. When it's time to replace a single picket or rail that's damaged, nail guns make the task ridiculously difficult. Plus, companies that use nail guns typically are trying to get the job done as fast as possible and then move on to the next one. That's not a formula for quality work. When I asked the other fence companies to add wood screws instead of nails, one flat out refused to do so and the other wanted $550 more for extra materials cost and extra time for labor. Brandon's bid came out below the two others even with using the same quality western red cedar and wood screws. He did a great job. Our fence is beautiful and I recommend him most highly. Now let me tell you the one thing in his Google reviews that's negative and then I'll tell you why. Don't expect to get an answer to your text message immediately back. In fact, you might not even get an answer back the same day. Sometimes I got an answer to my question two days later at 4:30 in the morning! Brandon's prices and his quality is so much better than others because Brandon doesn't sit behind a desk all day while he sends his workers out to do the jobs. Brandon IS Kyle Fencing and Kyle Fencing IS Brandon. This man works from can to can't 7 days a week, and when you realize this, give him a break if he gets home at 8:30 at night and chooses to eat supper and go to bed instead of answering your text message. Hire him and save lots of money and get a quality fence. You won't be disappointed. And Brandon, if you're reading this... text me back. I have another job for you to do. ;-)

After a recent sudden thunderstorm with high winds, one of the old backyard fences that I share…read morewith a neighbor suffered a few broken poles and messed up the fence line. Since I had a great previous experience with Big Brown Fence Installers, I reached out to Aaron for his help. He and his team took care of the job and positively responded to any concerns my neighbor had. While working on that job, Aaron didn't have to, but he pointed out some concerns that he had with the ground in which they did my previous fence job. Aaron had his guys come back out and readjust the holes of the poles so that he would feel it would be more stable over time, and he did under the guise of warranty work, so he did not charge me for that service. That is honesty and integrity that is, sadly, rarely seen and displayed nowadays.

We hired Accent Deck to do a new ipe deck for our home in May of 2019. We had a friend who James…read morehad built an ipe deck for and really liked it. James was very responsive to our initial inquiry and came out to our house to talk about design, budget & materials. We were pretty sure we wanted to go with ipe but James was also helpful in giving us the pros and cons of both wood and composite decking. He also was willing to listen to our needs around design, which included a desire to have a bricked space for a wood burning fire pit that we were having manufactured as well as enough room for a dining area off our kitchen/mud room door. We iterated on our overall design for a few weeks and then made the decision to hire Accent. James very quickly got his crew to work, and they were some of the hardest working guys we have ever had work on a home project! They were there every day, weather permitting (and even sometimes in bad weather!). Eli, the head builder, was friendly, paid extremely close attention to detail and always happy to accommodate any small fixes or areas we wanted him to address. Both James and Eli had a very consistent answer of "We can do that" and we never felt like we were getting the runaround or getting pushed in a direction we didn't want to go. The workmanship in the final product is truly impressive and we've had several people remark that it's the most quality craftsmanship they have ever seen in a deck. I would agree -- if you're looking for a high quality deck and care about evenness, levelness, and overall structural integrity, this is your team! I'm including some photos of the before/during/after. Thanks Accent Deck!
