Yelp Challenge 2016: 78/116. Ah Buenos Aires! My first time there and only a day and a half at that. My friend booked the Wilton- which I thought was a funny play on names (think Hilton...).
Very central to many areas of interest and tourist attractions with long walks and short, inexpensive cab rides. Located at Ave Callao between Santa Fe & Arenales in the Recoleta area of town.
The Standard room came with one double bed for less than $80 per night. There is access to a rooftop balcony and gym with sauna and shower. The view from rooftop is very picturesque at sunset and sunrise. In the room, there was an enclosed shower/bathtub combo and a bidet! Argentinians like bidets. Even private homes have them. In the Wilton bathroom, there was no washcloth, just two large towels and two medium sized hand towels.
Breakfast was included: coffee, tea, OJ, toast, hard boiled egg, cheese, coldcuts, cereal, canned fruit, cookies/biscuits and yogurt. Not bad!
The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at the Wilton again read more
