I recently enjoyed staying 5 nights at this Hilton location. It is a beautiful and well-located property. The floor to ceiling windows at the entrance gives it a grand yet elegant feel. The door open to Alberto's Lobby Bar. The bar is open and inviting - offering up edge seating and center couches lending itself to be a great place to wait if your room is not ready, for hanging out or waiting for departure after checkout. The Concierge and Main Lobby desks are easily accessible for questions, check-in, luggage storage, etc. All of the staff that I interacted with at both of these desks were efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. I noticed that during the middle of the day, there would be an infused water stand in the lobby near the Main Lobby desk. I really enjoyed being able to have a refreshing lemon water upon my return from the very, very warm outdoors. There is some additional seating around the lobby along with a grab-n-go place named Croutons and the entrance to El Faro, the location of included or unincluded breakfast, also offering lunch buffet and dinner for a fee. The hotel also has a small gift shop, an outdoor pool, fitness center, executing lounge, business center and meeting rooms. I saw that they also offer EV parking. I didn't have the opportunity to use any of the amenities during my stay so I can't really speak to their level of sufficiency or convenience. I can only say that everything looked to be well-managed and cared for. I stayed in rooms with 2-Queen beds; they are very spacious, comfortable and reasonably quiet. The rooms include a long couch, a table with 2 chairs, a divider to separate the sleeping area from the entrance-bathroom-closet-storage area, a coffee-tea bar and a small refrigerator. The bathrooms are also very spacious, offering a shower separate from a full-size soaking tub and quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand-soap and lotion. Cut to the chase, I would rate this Hilton 6-stars... I loved everything about this place. First, the location is excellent. It is in the heart of Puerto Madero and surrounded by great restaurants. It is easy walking distance to lots of things The hotel itself is very American in design. It has a huge open air and sunny atrium. The rooms are large -- not European sized at all. My standard room had a tub and shower. We also had a very large couch and table area. Loved all the use of space. The highlight of this hotel though is the staff. First, all speak English which is not a given at all in Buenos Aires. More importantly, the servcie is fantastic. If you need a pillow or a towel, it arrives within minutes. Need directions or a taxi -- they are on it. We wanted a late checkout and were given two hours without question. There is a great coffee shop with coffee, sodas, and snacks. The food in the lobby bar is excellent -- whether delivered as room service or eaten the the lobby. The beef empanadas, in particular, were the best we had in Buenos Aires. This may be the best all-around Hilton I have ever stayed at. I would absolutely return here without question. Highly Recommended! read more

Walking in, the lobby was decorated for the holidays and super cute! On check-in, staff were welcoming and friendly upon arrival. I appreciate the location as there are so many restaurants, convenient stores, wine, shops, etc., close by. you can easily walk to the river and under a minute and it's about twenty minutes to thirty minutes to walk to the famous markets. The room itself was very spacious. I love that there's a shower and a tub that are separate. The closet area is separated and there's a fridge in the cabinet. Also a huge couch if you have people over. The room did have a slight b.o. smell that never went away. My colleague said they noticed the same in their room. It is hot this time of year, so maybe that's to be expected? The main bar restaurant area was closed, for I believe a private Christmas party, but they moved it to the side, so guests could still eat and drink. I had the margarita pizza and tiramisu. Both were good. The staff there are so nice. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

I was here for three days on business. Perfect stay from start to finish. Check in was super quick. Every employee I interacted in my time here was helpful and very friendly. I felt like a valued guest My room was large and clean. The bed was super comfortable. I loved the location. It is easy to walk into the middle of town from here and there are so many restaurants close to the hotel. I spent a lot of time walking in the area. It felt very safe. There is also a beautiful park just across from the hotel. I will definitely look forward to coming back. read more

The suite we booked was very nice and clean and modern and it was newly renovated. Big and spacious room in general and the bathroom was nice. The staff was also very nice and provided us an upgrade. The facilities at this Hilton are on par with the brand, but what makes this one stand out is the outstanding service. It is evident that the staff are all well trained, but beyond that they are friendly and go out of their way to help. Our stay here was made even better by Martin, the best concierge ever. I was a high maintenance guest, but he not only tolerated my endless questions, but was able to book us onto several tours, even when we thought there was no availability. And the tours we ended up taking were better than the ones we originally wanted. I know it's his job, but he went way above and beyond! I wish all concierges were this helpful AND approachable. The service here is much better, and friendlier than one of the 'higher' end hotels we transferred in to Recoleta to pick up our tour. Also, this has great, clean modern rooms with a large bathroom. This Hilton is located in Puerto Madero, which has lots of restaurants and bars, and it's centrally located near the government buildings and Plaza de Mayo. Very safe area. Tried to make a reservation in person at the Hilton San Telmo, was told they couldn't and we had to go through a service, ( means an added fee ) gave us three phone numbers that didn't answer. We have stayed there four or five times before and we're not given this run around! Wonder if some one is getting a kickback from the booking site? Went to the hotel two days in a row thought if I explained our situation they would try and help, was like talking to a wall. This Hilton is located in Puerto Madera district in Buenos Aires which is a really nice and safe area to stay in. There are a ton of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The rooms are pretty big in size, and the rooms are older fashioned. I opted to not get breakfast there at $28 USD per person per day for breakfast and spent that money on awesome food in the area. I heard that the breakfast served is very basic and not worth $10. When i was there, they were doing construction and i could hear it all day and all night. read more

I'd give this hotel a better rating if there wasn't a strange security guard following me around for no reason. Me and my husband came down to wait for a ride. It was fifteen minutes out so I walked into the bakery/coffee shop. There was no one else inside other than a worker. My husband stayed in the lobby. The security guy came inside and watched me everywhere I went. There are cookies and bread. I'm dressed for dinner and have my umbrella and small purse over my shoulders. I could sense he was security but thought he couldn't possibly be homed in on me. My husband came inside as I was leaving and the security man left also. We waited together in the lobby and had ten minutes remaining. The security man stood directly across from where we were. We were watching a Hilton promotional video. There were tons of people in the bar and people coming in and out. His eyes are locked in on me/us. I finally mentioned it to my husband and he looked at him to see what I was talking about. End of story. He finally walked away after I pretty much stared him down and we were ready to walk out. He had made me feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. He should spend his time finding an actual threat to look at. I'll suggest that we go elsewhere next time even though the executive lounge is nice. read more

Painfully, because I am a Hilton fan; I will say I was not dissapointed with the facility but I think the value ROI is very low. The rates are way high for the room you can get. Nothing was outstanding. It was a good hotel but with that money you can get nicer and newer rooms in other hotels and use spare money for show, food or night out. The room as you can see from pictures is ample, great restroom separate shower and tub setting with OK vanity and OK amenities. Bed and mattress were good nothing major. Led TV is too small for this chain and this room. Good work desk and lounge table and chairs. My room on 2nd floor had a nice street view. The pool of the hotel is one of the best I have seen in hotels in bsas roof top nice view but small for hotel size. But one of the nicest areas of the hotel. The gym is one of the best in hotels in Buenos Aires. Plenty of cardiovascular a day weight equipment. Right next to it there is a men only spa. Massage treatments and some other treatments can be scheduled. In men spa there are showers dry sauna and men's steam room vapor hombres solamente. Lounge area a day plenty of lockers. These could be switched to be electronic key. All guests must have a room key that could be used to open and lock lockers. This was a high point of the hotel but not worth the extra rate per night. I liked the lobby w bar and restaurant and a lounge area. check in and out was easy but wished they organized a queue as some people don't get a hint of order. Simple post and line set up. 4 elevators move everyone efficiently. The whole team staff throughout the hotel is top notch and nice as can be. By dar the best asset and value this hotel has. Location is great. A bit on the "for tourists" side but Puerto Madero is vibrant and safe and close to many other safe areas in Buenos Aires. A great city and country with amazing people. read more

Stayed here for a night and it was good. The staff who checked us in was a trainee, so she didn't enough knowledge for benefits for us being a gold member. There were not bottles of water upon check in, so we had to ask for them. Very nice lobby and the room. I was disappointed breakfast. It wasn't great at all. We stayed here for 7 nights this past week and from the time we arrived we were wowed by the lobby area which is very open and welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. We were checked in by Cecilia and were lucky 2 get a slightly bigger room for the 3 of us and also we were able to get into our room when we got to the hotel (11am) which was very welcome after a 13hour flight from London. The room was lovely and i especially loved the shower, very spacious and great water pressure. The separate closet for storage was also great. We also had a great maid Magali who always left me little cute notes in Spanish, unfortunately I have 0 Spanish and with the help of google translate and a Spanish friend back home I was able to understand her lovely notes. The coffee shop downstairs was very handy when peckish, we didn't eat in the restaurants and had room service twice which was quick and very good both times. My review would have been 5 star all the way if it wasn't for the last night. I saw that the hotel had deducted almost £900 from my bank account for payment of hotel room even though my hotel booking was prepaid (booked through British airways holidays) and also confirmed with Cecilia on check in. I went downstairs to query the charge and had to wait ages while they did whatever they do when they go to "speak to supervisor". Eventually the guy at the desk came and of course confirmed I was being doubly charged as my room was already paid for. The whole thing just ruined what had been a pretty great stay for me, and coming at the end of the holiday when all money is spentI now have to put up with overdraft charges with my bank amongst other issues just because of this silliness. As an apology, my 900peso room service charge was waved, I don't think that was enough, but hey. Now I'm still waiting for the charge to be cancelled, still hasn't been and I'm back home. I did talk to the lady at check out about it and she promised it was cancelled but I have to wait a few days or whatever. Anyway, the hotel is lovely and in a lovely location. Puerto Madero is lovely and walking distance to the centre and cheap taxi distance from everywhere else. read more

If only the Hiltons were like this in the USA! A truly great business hotel. Came for a conference, stayed for 5 days, couldn't be any better. They stored my stuff while I was in Patagonia, and let me use the exercise facility, which was very well equipped - pool outdoors but it was still a bit chilly, so didn't use it. Florencia and Adrian, concierge and manager, were super helpful. My large room, on the executive 9th floor, was quiet, spacious and had a great view. Hilton Honors internet, very speedy. Breakfast in the lounge was perfect. Room service was fast, with high quality good food. Housekeeping was excellent, the location in Puerto Madero superb - highly recommended, might be the best in South America! read more

Outdated. - Their version of A/C is a wall unit that blows (not clean) air at you, doesn't seem to hold a temperature accurately and definitely isn't centralized. - Their room service is awful (the food itself) and there isn't much to eat onsite that is worth the value. If you stay here, be aware that you need to venture out for food 100% of the time. - They refused to give us a late check out (not even an hour late) despite staying there for 7 days. The fact that we had a zillion Hilton Honors points mattered for nothing. This is a very nice business hotel and a perfect location for walking in any direction - from San Telmo to Plaza Mayo and Recoleta. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and eager to please. Breakfast in the executive lounge was good - plenty of fresh fruit and good medialunas! Clean, very comfortable with an amazing view over the river, Puerto Madero, Casa Rosada and the city. We used the pool every day which has the same amazing view; heated to bath temperature - almost too warm to swim but wonderful place to chill out in peace and quiet when you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Every time I go to BA, I stay at Hilton Puerto Madero. I love the Executive Lounge. The breakfast in the lounge and the breakfast area in the first floor are always well stocked with argentinian goodies. All the waiters are very nice. My mom used the spa services and she loved it. The receptionists make sure you have everything you need for the stay. I can't wait to be back. The hotel is very clean. The pool area and executive lounge has an amazing view of Buenos Aires government buildings. The area also is the safest in BA. read more

Wonderful hotel! From the moment you pull up to the drive way, to opening the doors and looking at the beautiful lobby area, this is a gem in puerto madero area of Buenos Aires. As you may expect from a Hilton, staff are very friendly and professional, they check in staff were very helpful and everyone you see greets you with a smile. The lobby is breathtaking, high ceiling and hanging hammocks adorn the sky, while the beautiful bar area captures the room. My room, single king bed is super spacious and grand. Offers a seating area, walk in closet, office space, large shower, tub, bathroom! I have yet to try the dinning experience or drinks but if it's anything like the rest, it will be 5 stars hands down. This is an amazing hotel with stellar staff members! We were visiting Buenos Aires for the first time from New York! We have not had any issues staying here. Maria at the front desk, and Emsnuel from concierge were FANTASTIC. We stayed at the Curio and the service there was poor! We ended up checking out and moving to this Hilton which we were very happy we did! We were always greeted with bright beautiful smiles in every corner of the hotel! Alexis in the Executive Lounge is a sweetheart he always made sure we had everything we need and took good care of us in the lounge, he treated us like first class superstars! The service here was so good that we ended up extending our stay for an additional week just to enjoy the hotel and the area, crazy right? Well let me tell you I have not experience such superb class of service in any US hotels but to come 5000+ miles all the way in Argentina to receive such service is worth every penny! It is hard to imagine a better hotel experience than the one given by this Hilton, where we stayed from April 6-9. Every member of the staff, from the front staff to the restaurant staff to the bar staff, were wonderful. The location is probably the best in Buenos Aires, with park on one side and a canal on the other; dozens of restaurants are an easy walk away They happily arranged for transportation from the port and to the airport. The room was both spacious and quite comfortable. The breakfast and lunch buffets were memorable and the breakfast was complementary for Hilton Gold members. When my wife became very ill with bronchitis, they arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel. On check-out day, our flight was not until 9:00 p.m.; the hotel was completely full, but because of my wife's illness they gave us late check-out. read more

This is a great hotel for business, but I can't recommend it for a luxury vacation. We were here with a large group and although the rooms were nice, the food was awful. Breakfast each morning was not good and the one time we ordered room service the hamburgers they brought were inedible. For a luxury vacation, this isn't the place to stay. You are not within walking distance of anything. The location of this hotel is not good if you just want to walk around, site see, shop and take tours. I am an international guest for an important meeting at this hotel. All night long, loud, window-rattling club music is played by the local club(s). Even with ear plugs + noise reduction head phones, the pounding sound of the bass is so loud, it's impossible to sleep. Imagine trying to be ready for presenting lectures in front of an international audience as their guest with little or no sleep. If you stay here, I hope you are at the club all night, so you can sleep during the day. And, of course, all of the rooms on the far side of the hotel are not available. Worst noise problem I have ever experienced at a hotel. I would give ZERO stars if I could. read more

This has to be one of the nicest Hiltons I have ever stayed at. The location in the Puerto Madero neighborhood of Buenos Aires is excellent. Depending on what side of the building you're on, you can get views of the Casa Rosada and Santiago Calatrava bridge from your hotel room. Some of the nicest restaurants in Buenos Aires are just across the street. Very nice rooms with modern decor. The hotel boasts an excellent gym and beautiful swimming pool area. Hilton Honors Diamond members get breakfast and evening receptions in the lounge. read more
