I asked if that was going to fix the problem. He said most likely. The next day they called to say they had another tech look at the car and found the airbox cover broken. He quoted me a price and I said OK , replace that also. The next day they called and said my car. I went to pick it up and because the engine was warm, I didn't hear the noise. The next day I called to ask the manager if my discount had been applied to the total of $667. He said no it wasn't and for me to come back and he would refund my money. Two days later, I started my car and the noise was still there. I went to get my refund and told the manager that I still had the noise. He was working on the refund and handed me the customer copy of the refund ticket and didn't really hear me when I said that "I still have the noise. " All he said was have a great day. Didn't at all listen to me and didn't ask how my car was running. He didn't even look up. But he did make money off of me. I guess that's what he was in business for. Would not recommend this auto shop as I think his prices were high. They really didn't listen to me when I was telling them my problem. All they heard was $. I was very upset and disappointed. Would never go back or recommend them to anyone

I hop on the "yelp" and look up near by radiator shops with good reviews and ratings and "able radiator repair" was one of the best if not the best one ,so I then gave them a call and a older gentleman picked up I think it was john (not 100% sure) and I told him what was going on he ask me simple questions (year/make/model/) and told me he had an opening that Friday which was two days from when I made that phone call. I bring my Tahoe in and he tells me everything I kinda knew already from previous quotes and then drops the bombshell of the price which was like 60 bucks cheaper than all the places I called and then when he is done he then tells you about discounts and drops it even more a lot more. Not only are they very well priced they have great service ,you feel like you have known them for ages. I have now been driving my Tahoe with new radiator for About 3 months and no problem they did a great job for far less then anyone around here and I would highly recommend them don't let the shop looks intimidate you it's the old fashion radiator shop trust me you won't regret it.

He never addressed my issue and I had to go to another Auto Repair as they quickly identified the problem and took care of it. The new Mechanic admitted that this owner from Camas Washougal exhaust Automotive scammed me. Shame on them. I trusted this Jamie character owner because he had Christian paraphernalia all over his office, and he claimed to be this God-fearing man. But the truth is he lied to me and scammed me. He suggested I bring cash in, without any conscience. Knowing, that as I drove off, my van was still suffering from the same issues . The repairs he did were absolutely unnecessary. And he led me to believe that he was resolving the problem, addressing my issue with the car. this owner was uncaring, unprofessional, and I didn't have the bandwidth to battle with him. So I went to another mechanic. But I lost $1200 This happened in January 2026. I warn everyone not to use his services. He and his wife should've immediately said we can't repair your car but here's what we can do. Instead, they took advantage of me as a single working woman, they lied to me and charged me the $1200 ....for nothing! I was unaware until I actually drove off and realized my car still had the same trouble and what he repaired was unnecessary. $1200 cash is a lot of money. Shame on them. Go to Trutech in Vancouver, they are honest and skilled. Also, this guys work on my car does not show up on the Carfax report. all my other repairs since I bought the car new 10 years ago are all on my report except for his. So obviously, he didn't want to claim his dishonesty or have record of it. Don't go to washougal Camas exhaust and Automotive.

The guy laughed and said they were too busy to deal with reviews on yelp. I am a woman and have experienced mechanics doing work without checking with me beforehand, and mechanics being disrespectful and it seemed it was because I was female and didn't know a ton about cars (not my career or area of expertise), so reviews are important to me. I am someone who is: 1) a loyal customer, 2) one who just gets used cars because I think a brand new car is a waste of money. Due to past experiences I am leary to work with a place that just doesn't take care with communications. I was trying to help them know why I decided, but they laughed at me and made it clear they don't care if i am comfortable or not by saying they are too busy. This review is for anyone else out there who thinks, how you do one thing is how you probably do many things.
