But a few days after that, my sink started backing up. I then had to go away for a week, so plumber Josh Harvey returned to fix this new issue today. (I live in a condo building in downtown DC that has recently had a lot of bad kitchen sewer issues, so it was only a matter of time that the issue happened to me.) First off, Josh discovered horrible initial installation of the kitchen pipes... calling it "sheer negligence and laziness". Basically, the pipe coming out of the wall that leads to the sewer should have had a proper threaded connection on it. Instead, it was a raw pipe that was not properly sealed shut. The plumber said it was a major water leak intrusion waiting to happen! Josh told me today that he's 43 yrs old and has been plumbing since he was 14, and had never seen such laziness in an initial install. It never should have been signed off on by the Faison contractor/builder of my building. So long story short. These guys know their stuff. I highly recommend them.

Patrick called me to confirm the one hour arrival window and to provide me an update even within that window. He was conscientious of my floors and wore booties. He had all the right equipment - an auger, snake, all very heavy. He came, asked several questions and performed some work to assess the situation. He explained to me what he was doing and when resolved, gave me the details of his actions. He even saved one of the clogged items to show me (haha). And at the end, he cleaned up - I swear cleaner than when he arrived - and gave me a tip of how to be proactive against these plumbing issues. Phillip was kind enough to come to our house immediately within 1 hour after he completed another job even though our appointment was for the following morning given the emergency situation. Phillip was highly professional, neat, and knowledgeable. He cut away the damaged drywall, which was very molded, found the leaking pipe, and repaired it within a relatively short period of time. We would hire him again for any future plumbing work. Thank you! Now, we have to work with our home insurance to get the drywall repaired, but thankfully there is no more water spilling down our walls.

Don't hire this company for large jobs! We had to replace water pipes in our home. We were…read moreinitially told the project would take 3 days (first red flag) and it ended up taking much longer. Raymond did a poor job of communicating the project schedule and next steps. We never knew when he was actually coming by to complete the work. When we called for updates we got the run around or he blamed it on other entities. One of the last steps was replacing the concrete, seen in the photos. We asked how many people would be working with him, he said a few around 4 people. In actuality it just was him and his son that helped. This was the sloppiest concrete job and evident that Raymond, a plumbing expert, has no business laying concrete. He definitely should've outsourced this part of the project. The concrete is uneven and bows down, which is a safety hazard. Left a broken piece of the wood frame in and just overall the messiest concrete application I've seen. Our garden bed is ruined, he didn't put enough dirt back before adding the brick. We're extremely unsatisfied with Odemz craftsmanship. We would've appreciated if Raymond was upfront about his capabilities and any changes in the project schedule. We feel he just took our money, knowing he didn't know what he was doing.
